Great family hotel with nice hosts. Location is perfect, rooms are big, very comfortable and clean. The view from our room was stunning. Everything is the best! Very homey vibes. The hosts were accommodating. The location is superb! If you go to the rooftop, you'll get 360 degrees of the mountains! Cleanliness is on point. The hot water was quick in the shower to heat. I can't even see any dirt or my hair in the drainage. No smell too. How did they do that? The lines were fresh and clean. Everything you need as a visitor is here in Hotel Horizon Kazbegi! Breakfast was freshly made. It was simple, warm and tasty! You can pack it if you can't finish because the hosts just loved to feed. There are board games in the living room too. Price is fair with the service you'll get. Beds are comfortable. Was surprised to get complete toiletries and even slippers! Neighborhood is quiet. Nearby Spar supermarket is walkable and other restaurants! Even there was a construction going on, we were at peace during our stay. Better than hotels! They should have the 5 star rating! We will surely comeback and refer this to our friends!

Stayed there for 2 nights. A modern hotel and a family run place. Rooms were great. All (most, there are a couple facing the other side too) rooms have great views of mount Kazbeg and the church. I stayed at top floor in rooms with a terrace. The terrace was big !! The rooms are modern, well designed, aesthetic. It's great to sit out in a large terrace with a view. The breakfast was great. We were vegetarians and the hotel staff did take special care of that very well. Thank you. Kazbegi is a small town/village and you can walk down the roads to the hike start point for the Gergeti Trinity Church too. Overall a great stay and a big highlight of my trip to Georgia.

    The staff were awesome. Lovely ladies and chef who took perfect care of us, with smiles all through. The warm welcome when we got to the reception blew me off. They guided us on our itinerary and practical way to get to the Gergeti Monastry. The room was clean and we enjoyed the mountain and flowing river view- so perfect! Then Dinner was exceptional! The chef took care of our special rice request and let me add that our breakfast was superb. The Croissant and Chocolate muffin were the best I've ever had in my life and this is after tasting this in over 10 countries. Thank you lovely people, we will be back and tell our friends about you, representing Africa.

    The view from the front and back is so amazing. The room is very cozy and the breakfast is superb! I love all of it! It has wifi, and the place where we eat breakfast and dinner it has a very good view of the Gergeti trinity church plus, it's very cheap! If you want to have a more good view of the Caucasus mountain, you can walk 11mins going to Rooms Hotel and have some coffee there. I would really recommend this place!

    Great value for money, and the location was best. Our room was very big with two balconies. The scenery from the balconey was fantastic. The hotel provided a baby cot free of charge. Two chairs were there those were able to convert to beds. Morning breakfast has many varities. There is an open terrace in the restaurant to have coffee while enjoying the view.

    We went to different restaurants. Especially the river side cafe was very friendly and made us feel really special! The people in the information office right in the town centre were very friendly and helpful! They would need to be more supported with maps for hikers.

    Fantastic place for skiing holidays.

    Fantastic place for skiing holidays. However, you have to have some previous experience skiing or snowboarding; it's not very beginner-friendly. But the views are fantastic, and paragliding options are available as well, so you can enjoy flying. And most importantly, no queues on lifts:) and decent ticket prices. It was fantastic and memorable holidays.

    If you're craving solitude, Ardoti it a great place to relax. It is a remote village and a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach it. The Ardoti Guest House is isolated in the best way possible. Expect to eat the amazing food at the guest house and stay with the most welcoming family ever.

    In hindsight, I would have stayed a day less but that had nothing to do with Kazbegi but the place I stayed. After seeing Rooms Hotel and dining there, I could definitely stay there for a week and enjoy Kazbegi region. Also, if I go again, I'd probably rent a car in Tbilisi and drive there. Roads are OK without snow and the traffic is not bad at all. Spring and early autumn should be really good in Kazbegi. I liked the close by Sno Village a lot, lovely place.

    The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly. It was located in the backyard of their house but still comfortable. There were no windows or anything towards the cabin itself. It's close to the riverside, and you could easily walk there. The rest looked the same as the pictures. There were also some snacks in the mini-fridge, but I believe you have to pay some extra charge for them (we didn't use them, so I'm not sure). upstairs was very hot (we went there in July) but while you were downstairs you could easily use AC. Also, I expected some slippers but I couldn't find any.
