- From US$150.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 858 reviewsThis hotel is our all time favorite in the whole world and it is actually just difficult to describe all the reasons with the right words but the vibe here is extraordinary and all of the staff are so nice and helpful. First of all you have the friendly and comfortable athmosphere. The breakfast in the restaurant is really delicious and the restaurant offers really high quality food at relatively low price. Clean, extremely beautiful hotel and surroundings just wonderful right at beach and the seaside in Skala, Agistri where the sea is crystal clear. We really love the friendly atmosphere in Aktaion Botique hotel and not to forget theyr’e cute dog Luna and the Parrots Coco and Dodo who are also providing for a family friendly athmosphere. For us this is just like a little paradise away from home and we will absolutely be coming back (hopefully) every year.Guest review byKristjanaIceland
- From US$221.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,071 reviewsWe always make Sounio our first stop each year to Greece. Easy from airport and that first swim in the Agean sea takes all the jet lag out of you and your are ready. Hotel is perfect for a rest and the five star service is a bonus. Breakfast is always wonderful. The little tavernas nearby are fantastic. And 15 minutes either way by car you have many more restaurants. Staff is fantastic.. familiar faces each year. Beach chairs are great and towels included. We love this place. One of the best sunsets in Greece with the Temple of Poseidon in clear view. The full moon was a plus.Guest review byVassilli BouloukosUnited States
- From US$300.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,169 reviewsI have been staying in this hotell several times and I always enjoy my stay fully. The beds off course are so comfortable, the pillow menu, where you can select your preference of soft/hardness on you pillows. The breakfast is rich, varied and everything is delicious! You have many bars, cafes, restaurants in the neighborhood and only 10 min walk to Syntagma. This last stay we met the perfect receptionist "Eleni" that helped us into a much more pleasant stay. She was fantastically helpful. 10/10 she knows service and made our stay very special.Guest review byLindaSweden

The hotel and the staff think of all the small details, everything is of high quality, the beach is amazing, the pool is fun with water from the sea. Many good taverns around, the food in the hotel is high quality and not very very expensive and the staff is simply charming and helpful. highly recommendedGuest review byDanaPortugal
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 490 reviewsThe old decor fits the location so well. The garden is also beautiful. It was a joy to have breakfast there every morning (and befriend the cats). The location is perfect - very close to the port, yet in a quiet area. We managed to drag our luggage there ourselves - it was easier downhill when we left:).Guest review byCristinaRomania

We loved Athens overall.
We loved Athens overall. I'm amazed at the graffiti everywhere, but we found this to be true in all the places we visited including Naples, Barcelona, Madrid, Marseille and Palermo to name a few. Beyond that, the city was not dirty as some had told us previously. We visited in September which we thought might be a little off peak. Weather was perfect however crowds were still huge. The number of tourists is a testament to the popularity of this city. We plan on visiting again and staying longer. We walked a lot and found it easy to get from one place to another. Through all the core neighborhoods, there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops. It is fun to just get lost in the winding streets. We loved Psyrri Square... the restaurants in the square had outdoor seating and live Greek music. It was a perfect setting.Guest review byRaymondUnited States - 10.0

Been to Piraeus many times not every ones cup of tea but I know my way around and were to go . Many people just stay one night for ferries. Most City Ports alike so look around before judging and find out eating and cultureGuest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.Guest review byDebAustralia - 8.0
The property was spotless.
The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time. The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .Guest review byJackson - 8.0

The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean. Excellent experience and host extremely helpful and responsive.Guest review byRobertAustralia - 8.0
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting.
This is a beautiful island. The sea is warm and inviting. The beaches, although there is some sand, are very stony, and beach shoes are recommended. We went on a boat trip to navigate the island, taking a route that circled the entire island. It was a small boat and we were driving it ourselves. The day was slightly windy, and the sea we didn't realise was quite rough once you moved away from the beach. We only lasted one hour of the four-hour trip booked. It would have been better to have been warned that the sea would be rough, as we would have chosen another day for our trip. There are many boats, including sailing, charter, and private vessels, visiting Poros, making the port very busy. The boats were fascinating to watch. There are numerous excellent tavernas, and they are not expensive. They serve a variety of local dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Greek cuisine. The boat transfer from Athens takes only one hour, and the ferry operator is very prompt. I recommend a visit to Poros.Guest review bySandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.Guest review byjasonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0

My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed. It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0

You need to find time to discover the island and walk through all the little streets. I don't necessarily recommend a walking tour of the island, like we did, but with enough water and the right shoes, it can be a pleasant adventure.Guest review byIuliaRomania
