The property was absolutely perfect for our needs as a family of 4 (2 kids, 6 and 4), we had the junior suite with pool. It was modern, spacious, well equipped, clean. The place itself was perfectly located - a short walk into Chora, even for our small kids, and a short drive to Lavadi (you can walk in approx 10 mins, but we didn’t dare as the walk back with kids is quite steep and we had a car, so opted to take it each time). The main pool area is stunning, as is the restaurant and the breakfast is SUPPERB! We also ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and found it to be the best on the island (we enjoyed the Italian for a change to Greek food). However, the cherry on the top for us with this place was every single staff member. A very special shout out to Leo and Irine, who could not have done more for us, they went out of their way to ensure we had an incredible experience and were left needing nothing. They also made our kids feel so special and our kids LOVED them both. Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a magical week we had as a family in Astypalia. The old town of Rhodes is stunning.
The old town of Rhodes is stunning. It is an authentic old town full of stone buildings and little alleyways. Although there are many tourist shops they have not destroyed the integrity of the place by modernising. The Grand Masters Palace is impressive and a visit there is certainly worthwhile. The Roman floor mosaics are beautiful. The history museum within the palace was very good. We loved walking on the city wall from where you can see across the city and port. The archeological museum, in the hospital, was excellent. There are so many cafes and restaurants throughout the town. We ate at Yiannis which was family run, with great food at reasonable prices. There are many car rental places for a day out of the city. We got a cheap and excellent car at Butterfly Rentals, then drove to visit the Lindos Acropolis and the 6thC BC Kameiros ruins.Guest review byJanAustralia - 8.0

Avoid the strip along the beach where it’s quite gritty and scruffy, we got the bus most days to other beaches as we got a bit sick of the busyness of the town. Very cozy, hospitable and comfortable city. I felt like home. Delicious food in all restaurants and affordable prices. Lots of shops and grocery stores and souvenir shops. Lindos is a fantastic town full of lovely restaurants, bars and tavernas. You have a choice of 4 beaches within two natural harbours. I like to rent a self catering apartment and just buy my food locally or simply just go to one of the local restaurants. Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. Nice hotel overall, perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! Good location, right next to the beach! Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault!
