We loved the beach area with the sun-beds and umbrellas. The restaurant was really good; the included breakfast was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very helpful, transporting our bags and making reservations for us. The private, complimentary ferry was an amazing perk. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. The entry is a bit odd as it’s next to a pet shop but once upstairs you have a fantastic apartment that is close to Port and easy to get to with bags. I loved the views to the clock tower from balcony, views to the square and hills from living-room and hearing the town wake up each morning. Very neat and clean.
