We stayed 10 wonderful days at the Relux. The photos of the Hotel are exactly how it is,beautiful. The rooms are kept so clean, lovely little extras in the room and bathroom. The views are to die for, perfect location. The breakfast choice is huge and freshly squeezed orange just and a choice of quality coffees. The staff are so professional but friendly. Thank you all for a relaxing stay. We feel we have been lucky to find this place, as it’s a perfect location for beach port and restaurants. The drinks at the bar is excellent and good conversation with Stephanos he looked after us so well. This is our 3 rd time in IOS and wish we had found it a few years ago. We would recommend to anyone, everything is so perfect. Thank you again to all the staff they are a credit to your hotel.

The Staff at this hotel treat you like family and take care of every need. The location could not be beat. It is 100 steps from the beach. You are near a bakery, shops, mini-markets and many restaurants and have everything at your fingertip. The pool on site was so inviting that we spent time as a family there after dinner just lounging and catching up on work. The family that runs this hotel do it from their heart and it shows. When I come back to Ios, this is where I would stay.

We were only here for 2 nights and it didn’t feel like enough. We mostly relaxed by the beach and pool during the day - the loungers on the beach were great and the water is beautiful. We also made use of the tennis court which was really fun. Our room was decorated beautifully and we loved having a balcony!

Markos was absolutely Lovley- he picked us up from the port and dropped us back, he also gave us tips on where to go and eat! The location is unbeatable, the view was another highlight which we got to enjoy with A large balcony.

The location of the hotel was just perfect! 1 minute from the port and less than a minute from the bus station. Cafes and restaurants were 1-2 minutes by foot. The view was amazing(sea view/port view) The bed was very comfortable for my taste and the bathroom was newly renovated! The room has also a big balcony where you could enjoy your coffee with a nice sea view. The soundproof inside the room was OK.

It has an AMAZING view, it is very close up to the city (5 min walk downhill), very nice staff, they let us drop the baggage at 8 am and we could sleep at the pool until our room was ready for us (also they managed to get us room at 11am). Breakfast was delicious and filling, definitiely worth it after a night out.

Location was fantastic - close proximity to everything, just a short walk down steps to get to the main street. The cleaning ladies were lovely - gave us extra towels when needed and always greeted us. There was a balcony, clothes line and mini fridge. Perfect place if you're there for a few nights and don't intend on staying in heaps. The balcony was also beautiful, the sun came into the room each morning and lit everything up. Gorgeous views.

    We had such a great time here! The room was super clean and comfy, and the balcony right on the water was a total highlight — so peaceful and perfect for hanging out. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Best of all, our dog was more than welcome — they didn’t just tolerate pets, they genuinely loved having them around.Such a chill, happy vibe. We’d definitely stay here again!

    We had a great stay at Ios Resort! It’s really close to town and everything you’ll need, like an ATM and a supermarket. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The shower was amazing! Great food and drinks. The service was beyond expectations :-). We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

    The location is absolutely perfect! You are right on the beach, close to many restaurants, the bus stop, ATV rentals, and a short walk or bus ride from Chora. The staff was super friendly and so helpful! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Ios.

    The island is the preferred destination for 1st year...

    The island is the preferred destination for 1st year students, mainly from Ireland, from what we could tell. Not really our croud. It was a bit cheaper here for drinks and food than it was on Santorini or Mykonos, but I probably won't go back. There is not much to do on the island, and the wind was next level. We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights initially, but I am happy that we reduced it to 1 night. We visited a goat cheese farm, which was nice, but after that, we did not want to do anything in the wind, plus, there was not much else to do. The old town was very pretty, with cobble streets and little shops, but not as lively as Mykonos or Santorini at night. It felt like a Sunday. Lovely little island.

    This is an unspoiled island - love that there is no airport of cruise ships coming and flooding this island with tourists. There is just enough of a crowd to keep it lively without being crowded. The beach is well located and the bus service is extremely efficient to get you around. The beach is beautiful and clean.

    Excellent beach but the businesses that run the beach facilities (sunbeds and restaurants) must improve a lot. Despite very friendly personnel, the prices are very high compared to ther poor services and offered food quality.

    There is no supermarket in this area.

    There is no supermarket in this area. There is a tavern restaurant and a beach hut where you can buy drinks and snacks on the beach. it is located very far from the main town, the journey is long. The area is secluded, there is a not a lot of other properties around, but there is a few so you don't feel completely alone. The beach is stunning and the mountain views are spectacular. The beach attracts a small amount of people so it's not too busy. The water is very clean and the sand is nice.

    We loved the beach location very quite only thing was there was no transport to go into town as only 2 buses all day we left a day early as we wanted to enjoy the town of chora for 1 night the only place open for food was the beach hotel and they closed at 9pm and opened after 10 am for breakfast but the owners was lovely

    We really liked Ios, a great place to stay. At night it was peaceful and quiet but lively during the day and evening. We went into Chora most nights and that was wonderful, lots of bars and restaurants. Also a great bakery on the main road a must if you visit.     Lots of restaurants, Italian, Greek, Sushi to suit all budgets and a good bakery. Good mini markets. Great helpful staff everywhere you go. Good bike hire place who very helpful, its a must roads are quiet and easy to navigate. Great beach, clean plenty to do. Very clean and safe. Breath taking views you could admire all day. Brilliant cheap bus service to take you to port, or the main town only 2 euros.

    I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized...

    I liked that it is not an over-built, over-commercialized island like its famous neighbour Santorini. We rented a car one day and saw Homer‘s supposed resting place and a Byzantine castle, a wonderful goat farm with tours and great choices of cheeses run by very eloquent and multilingual owners, a large number of bigger and smaller beaches on all sides of Ios and even ran into a goat herd and visited one of several monasteries. Ios town is cute and very walkable with a lively vibe and we witnessed a folklore dance performance by various groups of dancers from other islands, adults and children, on the main square. 3-4 full days might be the right length, but we had 5 and used one for a day trip to Santorini. I prefer Ios despite the other islands‘ amazing promenades and oozing luxury feel.

    Beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds, bars, restaurants...

    Beautiful beach with plenty of sunbeds, bars, restaurants and mini markets. We can thoroughly recommend Drakos restaurant for lunch. Fresh fish and excellent food. It is at the very end of the beach. The town has a very good and regular bus service too for 2 euros one way.
