United KingdomA gorgeous little flat with all the comforts you would hope to find and more. Excellent in all respects. You can tell the host really cares to make guests welcome. She thought of all possible details and the rooms are absolutely spotless. The town has a vibrant atmosphere with a nice bar serving pizza in the main square, shops, bakeries and all you might need. Much livelier than the neighbouring towns. Really glad we picked this one!

IT IS A VERY SERENE PLACE, WINTER TIME, THE LAKE HAD THE CHARM OF THE GREY COLOURS... GOOD RESTAURANTS AND TAVERNS NEARBY WITH GOOD LOCAL PRODUCTS AND ESPECIALLY BUFFALO MEAT AND DERIVED PRODUCTS. The location overlooking lake kerkini was sublime in September. Easy to drive around the lake from here. Amazing birdsong and you could hear the flamingos from the hotel balcony. 20 minute drive to the lake to get the boat. Restaurants not great here but staff are so friendly. A brilliant base to climb up Radomir and Kagour, a stunning mountain range marking the border between Greece and Bulgaria, with North Macedonia to the West. Nicos who was boat owner and guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the birds and wildlife. The village is a few kilometres from the lake so transport is needed but there are tavernas and a shop within yards. I would definitely return. The lake in this locality is the attraction.
The lake in this locality is the attraction. There the locals raise buffaloes, a part of this lake resembles a delta. I saw turtles walking on the side of the road, storks, cormorants and other beautiful animals. I served the meal at FRAGMA.
