It's a nice little town on the side of a hill of more than 40.000 people with a nice town center and walkway and a very serious parking problem. Great stores with nice food and friendly locals. They say it's great on Halloween.. I will visit again thenGuest review byTeoGreece - 10.0

A very interesting place with a rich history. Just walking around and taking in the view is already great (find streets or paths on the edge of town), but the museums are really worth seeing too, even for people who don't do museums. The Poulko Mansion, for example, is a beautiful illustration of merchant life in the 18th century.Guest review byAncaRomania - 10.0

Great little small town in central Greece - my husband's village not far from there. Beautiful part of Greece - great starting point for day trips into the magnificient surrounding area (Edessa, Meteora etc.). Visiting the Saturday Bazaar (greek version of our farmer's market) is a must - it's just so neat and the prices of fresh veggies and fruit - unbelievable. The town goes back to the 15th century - lots of history trying to get rid of the Turkish occupation - nice little museum for local culture.Guest review byAthanasiosCanada - 10.0
A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd.
A quiet town, far from the usual tourist crowd. In the center, the plateau is very lively thanks to the street musicians. Their music is better than any of the surrounding restaurants. Thanks to that, we missed dinner, but we don't regret it. We enjoyed! We did not have time to visit the city and its surroundings in more detail, and we will do so next time. For now, the city captivates with its authentic and relaxed lifestyle.Guest review byTamaraSerbia
