A perfect place! The service was truly exceptional – especially thanks to Louise, Angela, and Despina at the reception, along with Danny the manager. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, taking care of every little detail to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. The place itself is truly special – peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking views in every direction. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, from the rooms to the shared areas. There was a warm, personal, and family-like atmosphere, and every request was met quickly and with a smile. We spent five wonderful and unforgettable days at the Elounda beach hotel. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by extremely warm and personable reception and concierge staff. The hotel has amazing landscaping and it feels like you are staying on a private island in your own world. Elounda beach has THE best location on the mirabello bay with the best views of the bay on either side of the hotel. The hotel beaches were one of the biggest attractions for us and they did not disappoint. They have 2 beaches (1 large and 1 small). We loved the small beach which was almost felt like our private beach. The water was great and refreshing and service was excellent. The rooms have amazing views and are very well equipped The hotel has 4 excellent restaurants on the property with excellent quality food and a wide variety and we never felt the need to go anywhere outside for our meals. The restaurant staff was very accommodating with tables with excellent view and great service. There was a special 3 hour Greek BBQ and song and dance night that was one of the highlights for our stay. The veghera bar which is almost in its own rock island and shaped like a ship was favorite place for drinks and cocktails. Overall the staff of the hotel is amazing and super professional and accommodating. They set very high standards and always aim to satisfy their guests Thank you to the Elounda beach staff for making our stay a memorable one.

The atmosphere in the village is more beautiful than you can imagine by looking at photos.Both beaches are great,very different and complementary. rooms are quite big,nice and clean.Food was delicious and all the stuff was pleasant and available for all we would need.Special mention goes to Marija and Antonis who took care of us during breakfast and dinner.

The location was excellent, as the hotel's position on the waterfront of the city allowed direct access to the city centre, which was in close proximity. Great selection of shops for coffee and food, easy access to the town's airport, perfect for a relaxing stay in Sitia.

Elounda is a good place to stay for late summer sun if you're from the UK or northern Europe. Its a busy town with many food / bar options. The bus service is great for exploring the local area. There are a lot of walking options - and sea activities.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

Have visited sissi for 20 years ! 2 , 3 , times a year. Sissi is a perfect village with plenty of restaurants, bars , noisy , quite, whatever you want is there. Very picturesque, beautiful village, once you visit once you will always go back .

Myrtos is a busy little town with parking just on the outskirts. Interesting streets with lots of shops and cafes, so good to walk around and explore. Beach front cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Choice of many tavernas for food and drink.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete. In the south-east this small village with harbor and several taverns direct on the sea, which serve excellent food at a reasonable price has no overtourism until now. At the beautiful 3 km sandy beach, many very nice private App direct on the beach or above the harbor in the old town offer perfect locations to stay. Only at the end of the sandy beach away from the rest of accommodations a hotel complex offers an all inclusive stay.

The local restaurants are excellent.

The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.
