Truly a beautiful property, everything was finished to a high standard and we felt super comfortable here. Having a private pool and the courtyard area was a highlight, so lovely to relax there! Fantastic brand new units. Pamela was a great welcoming host and facilities and pool were just what we needed for our last night on Milos. Walking distance to town centre and close to beaches. Beds are extremely comfortable and air conditioning and ceiling fans make for a lovely stay. Great pool furniture and shower is good. We highly recommend these new apartments and nothing was a problem for the hosts.

Hotel Meltemi is owned by a lovely family who were very accomodating and generous (they let us both check in early and lounge by the pool following check out whilst we waited for our ferry). The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the ferry and surrounded by lots of food places, rental services etc. Breakfast was also great with plenty of options.

The Island of Lovers

Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.

Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.

Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.

Milos has some of the most famous Greek beaches like the sandy beach of Tsigrado and the beautiful organised beach of Agia Kiriaki. The volcanic beach of Sarakiniko is the most photographed one, while the Paleochori is a popular touristic resort with watersports facilities.

    I recently stayed in a Deluxe Suite with limited view and, to my surprise, it exceeded all expectations. The suite offered great privacy, which I truly appreciated—and even though the view was "limited," the main pool area provided breathtaking views that more than made up for it. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of my stay. Every dish was full of flavor. From breakfast to dinner, experience was excellent. I also treated myself to a massage and a relaxing bath at the spa, and I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere was serene, the service professional, and I left feeling completely refreshed. Overall, a truly memorable stay—I would return in a heartbeat.

    we loved everything here, but watching the sun go down from the hot tub was the most amazing experience of course. the view from the terrace is so beautiful and the garden is very inviting to just relax and glare at the sea. the suite was so tastefully designed and decorated, it was very clean and the bed is super comfortable. Anna was a very responsive, kind and helpful host. the little snacks and breakfast items provided were such a lovely detail.

    What an AMAZING stay. This was one of the most dreamiest places if ever stayed. We felt so special & welcome. It is really on of the nicest hotels. Very clean, very relaxing, very friendly & helpfull staff. I celebrated my birthday while we stayed there, and they just made me feel so worthy. From a massage, to a beautiful dinner.     Great stay at Milos Bay Suites. Really nice receptionist who gave us recommendations, he also ran down to the harbour to give me my Airpods after I forget them at the hotel, which was incredibly nice! The room was clean and nice, good location close to the center but still in a quiet neighborhood.

    Pollonia is lovely.

    Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beach

    If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot. It was a postcard moment at a truly wonderful venue. The Artemis Seaside Resort was the highlight, but the journey getting there, especially on an ATV, was amazing. The views are breathtaking and everyone we met was amazing. Don't leave Milos until you visit this area, it's worth the incredible drive!

    Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get...

    Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong. Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized. The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it! Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.

    Very beautiful beach.

    Very beautiful beach. A nice long beach that is not too busy. The sea colour is lovely. There are large white stones along the edges that are very pretty, just hard on the feet. We had a lovely swim here. Some boat trips also leave from here. There is a pretty good restaurant on the beach front - just a little pricy.

    Im sure instagram is responsible for the hype around Klima, and its totally understandable, so be prepared for it to be very busy in high season. But it really is beautiful, and if youre on Milos for a few days, its somewhere you definitely need to see.

    This accommodation was perfectly located with a 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the Adamantas bus stop/ferry port. The room was incredible especially for the value. I highly recommend to budget travelers to Milos!

    Mytakas beach is the perfect beach to relax daily. We also visited Sarakiniko beach which was awesome as well as Fyriplaka beach, but it was always nice to come back to Mytakas beach for a quieter experience. We ate in Plaka, Klima, and Pollonia. We loved Astakas in Klima albeit the drive down was difficult on the narrow hilly road. Getting around Milos in general was very easy. We recommed going to Plaka early to find parking and walk around and shop before the dinner crowds arrive.

    You need a car to stay at Firopotamos. It’s a small village without any stores or restaurants. It offers a quiet picturesque location for stunning views and easy access to the water. The accommodation is rustic but the beauty of the area makes up for it!
