Probably one of my favourite stays. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous room (we were kindly upgraded to a stunning room with a sea view and private outdoor hot tub). The pool area was perfect with a stunning sea view and the most incredible sunsets. Not to mention the spectacular private beach. Delicious breakfast served with a large selection, with new treats on rotation daily. The lunch and dinner menu was beyond what you’d expect from average hotel food at very reasonable prices (even for alcoholic beverages). The chef was incredible! But what really tops this place off is the staff - everyone from the hotel manager to the bar & restaurant staff were so kind and attentive. Such lovely people who are devoted to making sure you have the most pleasant stay. You’ll come as strangers and leave as friends. There is just something so magical about this place, it really does bring people together, including other guests. Never been to Naxos before and randomly chose this island on a whim. But will definitely be returning especially for another stay at Akre. Thank you so much 😊

The villa was spacious and super clean. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. They were also really nice and created a super chill atmosphere. The breakfast was wonderful and the swimming pool and beach facilities were great. We would definitely return to Sundunes were we in the area again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place with the view over both the sea and the mountains. The breakfast basket was superb: well filled with delicious foods and a good variety of choices, including a daily surprise of local pastries. What truly set this stay apart was the hostess Vicky's personal touch. Vicky's dedication to providing exceptional support, hospitality and help truly made a difference. Phenomenal hotel. Location was great, far enough from the tourist areas to be quiet but close enough to walk anywhere you want in town. The Agios Georgios beach is only a few minutes walk and has a ton of amenities. Parking is right across the street from the hotel and very convenient for getting to the roads to elsewhere on the island. Definitely get as small of a car as possible though with the narrow streets. Irene was so friendly and helpful, we arrived and left the island at weird times but she was so flexible with check in and check out - so incredibly generous of her. The top floor room was quiet, cool, clean, and had everything we needed. We'll never stay anywhere else on Naxos as long as Irene has an open room.

I really liked the hospitality, they give an atmosphere like you are family. The design was super slick and luxurious. The breakfast was great. The room was brand new with all the amenities one can think off. Cant recommend enough about this place.

Composed of Venetian and Cycladic elements, the traditional old town of Naxos (also known as Chora) has an imposing Venetian castle. Built in the 6th century BC and dedicated to Apollo, the iconic marble gate of Portara is located just outside the town, overlooking the Aegean Sea.

    The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.

    Relaxing town on the coast of Naxos, good restaurants close by, all walkable. Plenty of options for beach bars and sun loungers. Definitely quiet in the off season and everything starts to close from the start of October. Not easy to get to and from the port if you don't hire a car (bus not super reliable, 20 Euros for a taxi but some try to charge more). This isn't a problem if you just want to rest by the beach for the week but probably more ideal for those looking to hire a car and explore the island as well.

    I recommend hiring a quad bike to explore more beaches and the inland areas. This location is very good for if you have a quad bike as you can travel between the old town and the beaches along the coast on the other side, as well as inland. Quad hire is very reasonably priced and the company we used is very nearby. This is a lovely peaceful area. Groceries are a little expensive and there is a bigger supermarket than the one on the corner that has some more options. There are many lovely restaurants a very short walk from the accommodation, along the beach. A few have seating on the actual sand which is really special and romantic for couples.

    Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

    Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

    We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

    Hotel was difficult to find. It didn't show on Google maps. Eventually found out about 100 meters north out of town where one market is directly across the street from another market. The market on the right out of town essentially checks you in.

    lovely place to stay at and best of all Tosas mom was the sweetest and makes all homemade goods and breakfast, youll never get hungry here . we were greeted with plentiful of fruits and homebaked goods.the place was quiet and had the best views of the town and seaview..we wished we stayed here longer..they clean the place everyday and provides fresh towels and beddings changed everyday. Tosas had given us ideas to where to go and see some attractions and restaurants too.. we loved our stay here..
