The hospitality of the staff at this hotel is off-the-chart good. We travel often, and I don't think we've ever encountered a warmer and more sincerely welcoming staff. Other points to note: the sunset view from the terrace is remarkable; the breakfast buffet is lavish; laundry service at the front desk is inexpensive and prompt; accessing a rental car is simple (the front desk called, and someone drove up with a car to the hotel with the paperwork - I've never had an easier car rental experience).

We loved everything about this hotel! It's new, stylish, very clean. The location is perfect as it is very close to the center of the old town, but at the same time, a little step away from crowds. The staff at the hotel is incredible... We actually had a medical emergency and the owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful to us! We are really grateful that they made our stay comfortable and hassle-free.

During my recent stay at this beautiful hotel in Naxos, on Plaka beach, I was truly impressed by the stunning beachfront location, modern setup of the rooms, amazing pool and the overall relaxing atmosphere. The sunbeds overlooking the crystal-clear waters made it a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Nice clean, large room, with all the facilities in the room. Nice swimming pool, friendly staff, with a good basic menu dinner for breakfast/lunch/dinner, although excellent restaurant is as well at walking distance. Nice place to use as a base to discover Naxus, and discover e.g. the many beaches and lovely towns. Recommended to rent a car.

    We were traveling before the high season started and did not realized the bus from naxos is not going all the way to orkos beach (last stop was plaka beach). Anyway the reception guys from the hotel were so helpful and came for us to give us a lift. I can't describe how much they helped us as we were with child and it was getting late already. Thank you! The room was really nice, it had great and spacious shower. Even with extra bed for our son there was a place to move around the room, there was couch and small table and nice terrace to sit. Unfortunately there was no shade in there to really enjoy sitting there. The breakfast was pretty standard continental and there was fresh orange juice every morning. If we're coming back to naxos, definitely orkos Beach hotel. Really good value for the money. And I would almost forget, the beach is just across the road and for us it was the best one out of three we tried. :)

    This place next to the beach ist really exceptional. The pool is really big (25 meters), even good for lane swimming (at least in September/October when it is not in heavy use). They even have a gym (with a lot of weights). The hotel is stylish. And the breakfast is absolutely king, with a large selection of food. We loved it. Employees are very very friendly.

    The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.

    Relaxing town on the coast of Naxos, good restaurants close by, all walkable. Plenty of options for beach bars and sun loungers. Definitely quiet in the off season and everything starts to close from the start of October. Not easy to get to and from the port if you don't hire a car (bus not super reliable, 20 Euros for a taxi but some try to charge more). This isn't a problem if you just want to rest by the beach for the week but probably more ideal for those looking to hire a car and explore the island as well.

    I recommend hiring a quad bike to explore more beaches and the inland areas. This location is very good for if you have a quad bike as you can travel between the old town and the beaches along the coast on the other side, as well as inland. Quad hire is very reasonably priced and the company we used is very nearby. This is a lovely peaceful area. Groceries are a little expensive and there is a bigger supermarket than the one on the corner that has some more options. There are many lovely restaurants a very short walk from the accommodation, along the beach. A few have seating on the actual sand which is really special and romantic for couples.

    Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

    Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

    We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

    Hotel was difficult to find. It didn't show on Google maps. Eventually found out about 100 meters north out of town where one market is directly across the street from another market. The market on the right out of town essentially checks you in.

    Vivlos is conveniently located about ten minutes from Naxos...

    Vivlos is conveniently located about ten minutes from Naxos Town and roughly the same to local beaches. There are four or five local taverna's selling simple, good value, Greek food. The bakery is excellent and there is also a small supermarket and butchers. It's a good base from which to explore the island with walking trails marked out from there

    Lovely and lively port with plenty of bars and restaurants Beach was beautiful with easy access to the sea and good quality beach bars and restaurants at a reasonable price but sun beds are all overpriced at 45 euros.
