- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 332 reviewsAgapitos Villas is a real slice of paradise. I don't know if there is anything left to say after all the other brilliant reviews, but we loved almost everything. The pool area with breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea is out of this world! We had a two bedroom apartment with a terrace with ocean views. Clean, cool and nice. The staff is friendly; breakfast excellent - a shout out to Christos who helped us book a boat tour. We really liked the "honesty bar" in the pool area - the only place I've seen one except for in South Africa. Agios Ioannis is a very close. Definitely walking distance, but the road is very steep, so it is a tough walk. All in all, it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, largely thanks to the amazing pool area. Don't miss the sunrise. It is worth setting the alarm early.Guest review byMattiasSweden

The staff went out of their way to make our experience even better, and everything worked perfectly. The breakfasts were excellent and plentiful, served in a beautiful setting. Overall, we rate our stay 10 out of 10.✨ We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!Guest review byDenisaCzech Republic
- From US$104.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 623 reviewsThe hotel was very nice, clean and the design was traditional and in line with the local architecture. The swimming pool was very nice when we visited during July. The staff was super accomodating and they offered us a take away breakfast as we needed to check out before the breakfast official opening. Our choice of room was on the small side and I would upgrade to a bigger room if I would stay there for longer than 1-2 nightsGuest review bykonstantinosSwitzerland

The shower had very strong pressure and the Internet was good. Konstantinos ans his mother were so nice and kind as well as the housekeeping lady with beautiful smile. Breakfast was very good and they made the best tea for me(a serious tea drinker) and I enjoyed it very much.Guest review byEmmanouilOman

With a lot of activities and spaces to play (swiming pool, mini-golf, football, tennis, volleyball, ping-pong, chess, scuba, etc.), with direct access to the beach, an extremely professional, extremely pleasant staff who will help you immediately, but above all a place where the seascape combines with everything you could want to find in Greece.Guest review byLavinia ElenaRomania

Very convenient. Hotel room was very clean and cozy, hotel is located in a quiet place, we have tried spa, massage. It was perfect. A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.Guest review byshoshaiIsrael - 10.0

Very beautiful traditional Greek mountain village with small shops (local products) and few restaurants. Difficult to find parking in the center of the village, one public parking but it's very small. Easy to make road trips around Pelion area - go around if you have a car, this is one of the most beautiful regions in Greece (also in summer, not only winter). Some part of the roads (in Pelion area, not in Portaria) were destroyed in winter 2024 during storms. Unfortunately, they were still destroyed in July 2024. You can go around by car, roads are not closed, but needs a bit attention in many places and wouldn't recommend to drive at night (dark). Time from Portaria to beach (Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero) took from us abt 40 min so take your time. To Village "Kala Nera" (nice beach, long with plenty of place in July) a bit less.Guest review byPIALIISAGreece - 10.0

The village may look small, but it has everything you need – supermarkets, souvenir shops, cozy restaurants and cafés, a bakery, a children’s playground, and a newly renovated church. From here, you can enjoy a walk along the promenade to Kato Gatzea or Koropi. A short 10-minute drive takes you up into the mountains to the beautiful villages of Vizitsa and Milies. In the other direction, you can visit the Voliotis family olive mill or head to Ano Lechonia to catch the little train for a picturesque ride through the mountains.Guest review byIvan TsolovBulgaria - 10.0

Tsagarada is a charming village, renowned for its extraordinary natural beauty and unique setting. Settled in the heart of a chestnut forest, it attracts many visitors during the summertime who come to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking views and offering of an excellent traditional cuisine deeply rooted in the Pelion region’s rich culinary heritage. Founded in 1500, Tsagarada is composed of four picturesque settlements, each centered around beautifully restored old churches: Taxiarches, Agia Paraskevi, Agia Kyriaki, and Agios Stephanos. These churches are notable for their exquisite wooden carved iconostases. Tsagarada offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and tradition, making it a truly unforgettable destination.Guest review byTihomir NikolovskiNorth Macedonia - 8.0
Small village who keeps the traditional architecture .
Small village who keeps the traditional architecture . All new houses are builded with same structure. Has downtown and hill position. There is inly one market and one mini market, and one souvenir shop. But there are many restaurant and caffe shops, so you can enjoy in greek food. The bigest problem in Affissos is parking , and very rare any accommodation to have parking place. All the cars are parked even on the street ( and the street is very narrow) even on the beach waht is immediately after the vilage. Access to the sea from my accommodation was just 50 m. You can swim there if you want, but if you want to go on beach than you should walk for not more than 10 min, about 300-400 m to the Abovos beach.near by there are two more beach, but on the others the problem is parking. On Abovos you have enough parking all day. The water is warm and calm all day.Guest review byGordanaNorth Macedonia - 10.0
It is a nice place.
It is a nice place. A bit far and not so easy to reach, but definitely worth of visiting. There is a long public beach of about 2 km of length and a nudist beach (Parisena's) of about 400 meters, so there is a place for everyone. The restaurants are good, but tricky: the waiters are bringing you unwanted stuff like bottled water, bread, which aren't included into the price of the meal you order and the bills are not detailed, so you have the feeling of being cheated. Chorefto is nice for long evening walks, and you also have hiking trails alongside the sea. There's a lot of stray dogs, cats and mosquitoes (so take a repellent with you!).Guest review byM.Serbia - 10.0

We visited Mouresi in April when it was in full spring bloom and was low season as the high season is summer when people come to enjoy the beach. We were there to walk the ancient paths that criss-cross the peninsula between villages that date from centuries of use by the people that have lived there. It is a quaint rural area of Greece! There is not a lot of cultural sightseeing...just quaint villages and windy hairpin turn roads with the ocean and beaches, making for a laid-back vacation. We were there to hike but it would be too hot in the summer.Guest review byKayUnited States - 10.0

The location is perfect for those who want to be close to both nature and the sea. Just a short walk to the beach and near great restaurants. The area is peaceful, and we even saw some turtles nearby, such a lovely surprise! The host was incredibly welcoming and kind, showing us where everything was and making us feel at home right away. A wonderful stay overall!Guest review byCatalin H_PRomania
