The room, owners and enviroment is all very nice! The hotel is placed 30 min from Rodos city in a very calm and relaxing area called Kalavarda. With a few minuts walk from the nearest beach. The room was very clean with a cute interior design which we appriciated alot. The couple that owns Mastrali are so nice with big hearts and very accommadating. They helped us alot and really made our trip amazing and easier, strongly recomend!😊

Absolutely fantastic place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in old town. Central to everything that old town has to offer, but is still quite enough that you are not disturbed. The owners are so wonderful and cannot do enough for you. They make you feel like you are part of their family! The suite is spacious and is perfect for couples with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The building itself is rich in history, including the original 700 year old front entry door!

Many thanks to Nikos for the unforgettable days in his stone luxury suite. He is the nicest and most caring host I have ever met. The photos don't do a good job of showing how beautiful it is there, it's even more beautiful in person. There is something magical about watching the sunrise over the sea from the bed. Nikos can be proud of what he has built. Everything is extremely tasteful and with attention to detail. I recommend booking breakfast for at least one day, it is worth it. FAQs about hotels on Rhodes

Still a Wonder

Wonderful Rhodes has amazing beaches, nightlife and history. Its capital – Rhodes Town – once boasted the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Although sadly no trace of it exists in the harbour, its Old Town is still UNESCO World Heritage listed. This is because of the magnificent Palace of the Grand Master, a 14th-century castle once home to the Knights Hospitaller.

Just around the coast is Faliraki, the nightlife hotspot with clubs, bars and restaurants galore. Afantou and Kolymbia to the south have long, golden beaches, but the island’s crowning glory has to be Lindos. If you arrive by sea, you could be forgiven for thinking that you’ve reached paradise.

Home to some of the best Rhodes hotels, Lindos is a picture-perfect town with whitewashed houses hugging the sides of a hill that is topped with remains of an acropolis. On the other side of the hill is St Paul’s Bay where the apostle’s boat reportedly ran aground.

Lardos and Kiotari further south have a good range of Rhodes hotels by the beach available on Booking.com, while on the other side of the island Kremasti and neighbouring Trianda (also known as Ialysos) have a good range of watersports and quick transfers from Rhodes Airport.

    We liked apsolutely everything about the Apollo Beach Hotel. This place is simply amazing. We will definitely come back there. We went to other places in Rhodos, but this was far the best concerning money and quality. The beach is phantasic - first there is gras and enough shadow to chill, then you have a sand beach all the way to the water. The beach is just in front of the hotel and it is one of the best beaches - clean and no stones. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast and dinner are super delicious with a lot of choice, the people are friendly and you feel very welcomed, there is a shop in the hotel if you need to buy something, the beach bar is great with delicious fresh made smoothies and great coffee. They even have almond and soya milk, if you don't use cow milk, which is not usual in Rhodos. The Apollo Beach Hotel thought of everything. All you need you will find there. And we had an incredible sea view. All in one it was the best place to stay for a wonderful vacation. At the end we even got a present when leaving the hotel. Our next Rhodos trip we will book for sure at Apollo Beach Hotel.

    The hotel was beautiful and all the facilities excellent. Special thanks to Zoe from reception for her warm welcome and good introduction of the hotel after a long journey❤️ We loved the pool and the private beach, and there was never trouble getting sunbeds. We also loved our boat trip to Symi with pick up from the beach just 10 minutes from hotel, booked through the lovely concierge at Mitsis. The food selection is excellent and the kids especially loved the texmex and creperie with all the lovely desserts, special thanks to Josephine for her excellent service! Our family room was spacious for a family of five and with a big balcony with sunbeds and a private jacuzzi which was so nice to relax in after a day of sightseeing! The room was kept very clean, and the staff were very attentive and always happy to help. We had an excellent time at Mitsis and warmly recommend it.

    I really enjoyed every single minute at this hotel. Lovely and helpful staff, a lot of activity for kids and for adults. Amazing slides, three swimming pools in total, plenty of sunbsds, Snack bar opened with selection of salads, hotdogs. The main restaurant offering some repeated food but also every day is special grill selection. Most important every day you can get beef, chicken, pork, fish-good fish. The whole place is compact, not need to wait for food or drinks. Some people complain about drinks to sweet, but you can ask for extra soda and is not sweet anymore. Cocktails can be made with whatever you want with the local drinks. Close to the beach, bus available for free.

    Great location, helpful staff. The villa has a swimming pool and is 30 m from the sea, you can enjoy swimming in both the sea and the pool! We are delighted with this villa and recommend it for its location, as it is close to the airport and to the town of Rhodes, and in my opinion is located in the most beautiful part of the island! We asked to stay a few h longer on the day of departure and the staff kindly said it was possible, even though the hotel was full! Highly recomend.

Staff in shops all very pleasant and helpful. Good place to buy leather belts/handbags. Beware of biting flies in September although no mosquitoes then.

I like to rent a self catering apartment and just buy my food locally or simply just go to one of the local restaurants.     Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    Nice hotel overall, perfect stay for a relaxing holiday! Good location, right next to the beach! Similar hotels in the area are separated from their own private beach by a road, so having the beach right next to the hotel is a greate advantage of this hotel! All-inclusive service was exactly as described: great variety of foods, alcohol free and also alcoholic bevarages are served from 10:00 in the bars (including heavenly frappes!), but on some days champagne was available for breakfast. Snack bar also had a great variety of foods. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling and kind! Hotel is nicely designed, lot of areas to relax without being overly crowded by guests.

    We had a great family stay and especially enjoyed the friendly staff, fun pool activities, and the convenient location near the beach. The animation team and pool bar service were highlights of our stay. What we didn’t like was the limited selection of nonalcoholic drinks, the extra cost for water despite having all-inclusive, and the outdated room standard. The beach also had a rocky seabed and unclear water, which made swimming less enjoyable. Overall, a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

    Note this review is for Stegna, not the main village on the hill. Its really a lovely spot for a beach style holiday. Places for fishing, chilling, enjoying eating, a lovely walk. Perfect chill spot with a family feel. If you are looking for night life and big hotels, this is not the spot for you. We did not know there was a kayak company on site so we had pre-booked with Trekking Hellas so had to drive North to the start but it was a lovely trip with double kayaks.

    All staff amazing except the pool service bar. Not attentive enough, had to go for drinks myself to be told we will come to you then it took at least half an hour! One of the lunches that I ordered eventually turned up and was completely cold, the guy shrugged his shoulders and said it was the kitchens fault! Shame really, the rest of the place and the staff were really good. The on-site restaurants are amazing.

    Pefki is a lovely place to stay, much less buisier than Lindos next door which pulls large number of visitors during the day. Main Lee beach is sandy with plentyfull sunbeds, spaces on the eastern side of the beach otherwise. Very Good choice of restaraunts Nikolas and Tsambikos being our favourites. Car hire with full insurance for a week cost us £190 in Pefkos, necessary for conveniance but not essential as there is a good bus sevice along the main east coast road.

    We had a truly wonderful stay at Arfna Villas. The villa is modern, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The place was extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel at home right away. The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early and check out late without any extra charge, which we really appreciated. The villa is located a bit outside of the main town and other nearby areas, so it’s best suited if you rent a car to get around easily. For us this wasn’t a problem and it added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the villa exceeded our expectations and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes.
