Danube river cruises. Godollo royal palace was amazing if you are into the history of the Habsburgs. City park was lovely with autumn colours - there was even a "balloon flight" which we enjoyed. Buda was very historic (we stayed in Pest) - the open top Red Sightseeing Buses are very good value and an excellent way to get bearings. LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. Fantastic host !!!! Very friendly and helpful the will be there any time when you need, sorted all your problems!!! We have everything what we needed. Step to step instructions where we can go what please to see, we don't have to worry about anything everything will be sorted 😊 haus looks more beautiful not on the pictures!! Very comfortable bed bedding smells so freshly washed,loved that smell 🥰 Sparkly clean haus!! Haus have everything what you needed , and everything what you needed for barbecue. I'm haigh recommended that place !!!!! Budapest is an amazing city and in our opinion should be on everyone's bucket list. A boat trip on the Danube is a must and would also recommend a hop on hop off bus trip around the city. Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way. For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk.
