- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,269 reviewsWe have enjoyed our stay at Sal so much!! The staff is really helpful and friendly, and they went out of their way to make our stay as great as possible, helping us with questions, luggage and always checking in to see if there was anything we needed. The breakfast is wonderful, it truly feels like a treat to be at Sal. If there is availability, we recommend to stay at the bungalows at Sal Central, a 3 minute walk from Sal Secret Spot. It has a great pool and feels a little more peaceful. The bungalows sleep so good! The rooms were clean and have a great bohemian vibe. We will 100% be back, thank you team Sal! Off the walking shopping restaurant street just enough that it was quiet. It was an oasis from the busy area. The room and grounds were spotless. Woke to a view of the pool. The room was huge with a nice big balcony. So much to do in the area. Loved the staff so nice and helpfulGuest review bySusanUnited States

The location is very convenient, especially if you're flying in or out—just a short distance from the airport. The staff were friendly, and the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler. I appreciated the small touches like bottled water, coffee, sugar, and tea, plus a nice terrace. On the downside, breakfast wasn’t included, the towel looked a bit dirty (possibly due to its color), and there’s no elevator. The pool water didn’t seem very clean, and the air conditioning wasn’t as cold as expected. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you’re looking for something simple and close to the airport, but there’s definitely room for improvement.Guest review bySusanPhilippines - 8.0
Loved Seminyak and would definately go back!
Loved Seminyak and would definately go back! Lots of great restaurants/bars and shopping. Found some absolute local gem restaurants and the food was amazing. In particular a tiny little place in a back street call LUHRON - a must if you in the area, food was 10/10!Guest review byJUDYAustralia - 10.0
Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group.
Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group. It has wonderful cafes (Milk and Madu), beach clubs (La Brisa), restaurants (Longtime; Lulu’s), clubs and bistros (Margaret bistro). There’s also yoga, fitness and spas. It ticks all the boxes. Just be mindful when ordering salads, vegetable juice or iced drinks from certain places, as the tap water is not potable. It is also a short distance away from Seminyak (which has a lot of shopping; our kid loves places like Stroberi, Kids à gogo and Candyland).Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Uluwatu is much more expensive and luxury compared to the rest of Bali. The place is under a massive construction renovation, there are construction site everywhere so it will be very different in a couple of years. We enjoyed our 4 days there but there is definetly less activities except for luxurious cliff restaurant and beach clubs.Guest review byAliceAustralia - 10.0
We liked the central location in Legian.
We liked the central location in Legian. Hawkers should not attend hotel, this is rest time from shopping and bartering. Pad on Bene was our favourite place to eat anytime. Good food.Fat Tony’s burgers great. Water BOM amazing, our son went 4 times during our stay with great water slides. Traffic congestion to Changu and Ubud was horrendous. Took 2 hours for such a small distance.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Nusa dua was too isolated for family fun with young kids . We had divided our stay in Symniak and nusa but nusa was too far for evening life , food and fun activities for kids . We enjoyed Kuta and symniak area far more with lots to do for kids .Guest review bysaharAustralia - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 8.0

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellentGuest review byGlenysNew Zealand - 10.0

Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever...
Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever expanding Canggu and for me by far and away the best areas to stay. Roads are less busy, lots of very stylish options for coffee and eating but still amongst nature and rice fields - though these are disappearing fast even here! Harder to find accommodation but well worth the effort if you value the qualities that made Bali famous in the first place. Still clinging to it's authenticity despite all the construction endemic in Canggu!Guest review byNeilGermany
