- From $892.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 186 reviewsOn top of everything being wonderful, the staff service and quality was truly exceptional. Special mentions to Chef Dedi, Chef Oka and lovely server Esti for taking exceptional care of us at Rocka; manager Tubo for going the extra mile for my wife and I and for gifting the homemade chili ketchup; concierge manager Bayu for always helping us with pretty much everything we needed; chef Ary for his patience and calm during our cooking class; and staff Dekca for always having a smile on his face while driving us around the resort in his buggy. If you ever go to Six Senses Uluwatu, you will be well taken care of by staff who really care and make you feel comfortable and tended to at all times. Bonus if you find the people mentioned above! They will offer the true essence of the Balinese peopleGuest review byT P M ChiuUnited Kingdom
- From $99.93 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,351 reviewsIn total, we stayed here for one month and we were very happy. We will come back to stay here again after visiting other places in Bali. It's beautiful to have a pool surrounded by a green garden. There are many good restaurants along the street and it's a 7-10 min walk to the beach. We didn't need a scooter as everything was within walking distance. The room was spacious, that's why we picked it and we were happy with the size and air-conditioning. Good that we had a mini-fridge. It's quiet at night and an oasis from the busy traffic on the streets. Nice, firm mattress. The pillow was a bit too hard for my taste. The staff cleaned our room every day and gave us water bottles every day. We felt well taken care off!Guest review bySerainaSwitzerland

Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group.
Canggu has a nice mix of things for every age group. It has wonderful cafes (Milk and Madu), beach clubs (La Brisa), restaurants (Longtime; Lulu’s), clubs and bistros (Margaret bistro). There’s also yoga, fitness and spas. It ticks all the boxes. Just be mindful when ordering salads, vegetable juice or iced drinks from certain places, as the tap water is not potable. It is also a short distance away from Seminyak (which has a lot of shopping; our kid loves places like Stroberi, Kids à gogo and Candyland).Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Seminyak has so much to see and do, we were not short of places to eat and it was so easy with the family to walk out and find somewhere. Our favourite was Amici as the terrace area is relaxed garden feel and the kids were comfortable so made meal times easier. We loved Kudeta beach club, there was a family day when we went so face painting and lots of activities for them to join in with.Guest review byKetut - 6.0

Uluwatu is much more expensive and luxury compared to the rest of Bali. The place is under a massive construction renovation, there are construction site everywhere so it will be very different in a couple of years. We enjoyed our 4 days there but there is definetly less activities except for luxurious cliff restaurant and beach clubs.Guest review byAliceAustralia - 10.0
We liked the central location in Legian.
We liked the central location in Legian. Hawkers should not attend hotel, this is rest time from shopping and bartering. Pad on Bene was our favourite place to eat anytime. Good food.Fat Tony’s burgers great. Water BOM amazing, our son went 4 times during our stay with great water slides. Traffic congestion to Changu and Ubud was horrendous. Took 2 hours for such a small distance.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area.
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area. It was not for us. The area is dominated by large resorts and the main activities centre around surfing, or hanging out in a pricey resort/bar, or perhaps viewing artifical tourist sights. Admittedly some resorts are very nice and have nice views but it's not really my style of holiday to spend several hundred dollars to lounge on a sunbed on the coast. There are plenty of higher end places to eat in this area, but I didn't go to Indonesia to eat western food. The Indonesian options feel very samey and were better in other areas with more Indonesian diners. Even Ubud with its hordes of people felt more authentically like Bali than this area does. In all, if you want a resort style holiday or are a wealthy surfer then this is the area for you. If you want to mosey around and get a feel for Bali it is not. For other watersports, it would be better to go north e.g. for diving/snorkelling. Or go to another island altogether.Guest review byAlexanderNew Zealand - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 8.0

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellentGuest review byGlenysNew Zealand - 10.0

Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever...
Munggu and Seseh are at the leading edge of the ever expanding Canggu and for me by far and away the best areas to stay. Roads are less busy, lots of very stylish options for coffee and eating but still amongst nature and rice fields - though these are disappearing fast even here! Harder to find accommodation but well worth the effort if you value the qualities that made Bali famous in the first place. Still clinging to it's authenticity despite all the construction endemic in Canggu!Guest review byNeilGermany
