The location of the Amandaya was good. It was very convenient and not too far a ride from markets. The staff was really helpful and accomodating as i ended up with food poisoning from a local warung. They called a docotor for me and provided me with fruits that I was allowed to consume to help me feel better. I would 100% recommend this hotel. The rooms are also very modern and cute.

great location, standard of hotel/rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Helped me arrange a driver from the airport to the hotel but as the driver was a bit late got offered free breakfast the morning after . very attentive and friendly staff which made me feel welcome :)

Our room was on the 5th floor with a balcony overlooking the garden. The noise from motorbikes was barely noticeable, which made the stay even more peaceful. Having a balcony was also incredibly convenient, adding to the overall comfort. The room itself was fantastic—spotlessly clean with a stunning panoramic view. We stayed in the Cliff pool villa. Impeccable style luxury and the best possible customer service I have ever ever received. Augus, Teresa, Tri, Dwi and many more of the staff always helped us with a smile in their face. They sent some one over to take pictures for us for a small photo shoot we planned impromptu. Cliff bar is beautiful, Watu and Roca are all amazing places to eat in. Will definitely go back for more.

Infinity Pool was as if you are in heaven, overlooking a green forest with a little mist covering the trees. Breakfast on the Club level also was super with an extraordinary view. Great place to stay for markets and culture. Need transport to get around but Taxis are so cheap and Grab taxi app a must. So convenient. Day excursions with personal taxi driver in your own time a must too. Over 4 days saw a lot of the island and also squeezed in a lot in a day but with time to spare. Holiday so worth it. One more off my bucket list.

We love the hustle and bustle, but also enjoy the fact that we can get out and about easily. We loved the Irish pub and Greek taverna that we found this trip! Transport options are many so you just have to ask. Loads of shops, markets and food options to cater to every taste! We even like bartering with the various stall owners.!

this is an up and coming area in Bali. it looks like it will be upmarket from the shops, bars and restaurants that are already there. Its very busy and the traffic is hectic ( as is everywhere in Bali). Its a younger persons place as plenty of parties and activities. Would recommend to anyone under 40 that wants a hip vibe and action. if your older stick to Sanur

Uluwatu is certainly the tourist destination for fitness and wellness lovers, or those that love the coast. The locals are extremely welcoming, and whilst I don't necessarily recommend it, you can travel most of it on foot compared to the rest of the island. The businesses are a lot more westernised and is a great first stop for your Bali trip experience.

The footpath construction is neverending so look out for that but the beach area around Icon and south to Maya is awesome. No hassling on the beach, love the beach side walk end to end, amazing plant based cafes and restaurants and daily coffee at Kopi Kiosk and yoga at KOA Shala. Divine

I usually stay at the Mandira in Legian but chose to stay...

I usually stay at the Mandira in Legian but chose to stay here this time. It was amazing. The staff are so friendly and very obliging. My request to have rooms next to each other was met. The room I had, Garden Suite, was spacious and comfortable. The gardens are lush and well maintained. Breakfast had a huge selection of food and once again, requests were met without complaint. I would certainly stay at Legian Beach Hotel again.

I loved everything I saw here, just wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed at Prapat Beach, which was close enough to Penida Ferry Port and stunning, with an amazing view of Agung on a clear day. My accomodation was in a great spot and is as advertised. Sari Nadi Beach Stay is only a few k's from the harbour but with traffic, it took around 30mins. I did a tour of West island beaches, which I found disappointing because it was so busy, shoulder-to-shoulder busy! It felt it was impossible to really enjoy it with so many people. The walk down to Kelingking Beach might have been worth it if you didn't have to keep stopping for someone to get their perfect shot! The drive through the countryside was worth it alone though, and if your new to the island, it's a great way to get your bearings for a return visit. Crystal Beach was my pick of the beaches, just don't forget to bring a towel or change to hire one and a bed. Otherwise, you can sit at a table. Overall, I can't wait to go back! One tip, check if there are any days of (religious) observance when you stay. My stay coincided with Nyepi Laut, 'Silence of the Ocean' which means no water activity, great for me because it meant peace and quiet but not if you needed to travel that day.

Nusa Lembongan is much more relaxed than Bali. You can also get accommodation with fantastic views and beach access for a reasonable price. So many activities to do such as surfing, snorkelling, diving, fishing, etc. Once you've been to Nusa Lembongan, you will definitely come back again.

A beautiful, manicured ‘tourist only’ area. The beaches are stunningly beautiful golden sand with little swell or waves. The coastal walk makes an excellent stroll between the different hotels which merge into each other. The food options were as good as anywhere you will travel, but at a premium price compared to the rest of Bali. We found eating out, similar in price to our home country (New Zealand). Alcohol was definitely cheaper. Overall, a great place to go for a pampered, relaxing stay in the tropics.
