We were looking for a relaxed place, driving distance from Jakarta, for me to recover from a long flight and jet lag. Mambruk offers a quiet accommodation setting, with beautiful lush gardens and walking grounds. The pool is long and wide, and the gym is well equipped - however, the cable weight machine needs replaced. The breakfast was one of the best and most complete I've ever had in any hotel in many years of trips. The staff is very friendly. The private beach and general area are well maintained, and offer spectacular views to Krakatoa and the Sumatra-Java straight. There are many restaurant options around. End of August is probably a good time to go, with what I would say is around 50% or less occupation. It's also driving distance to many other beaches around, like main Anyer, Carita, as well as hiking hills and waterfalls - which we decided not to do due to lack of time, but will be back for.Guest review byPedroPortugal

We were unable to arrange a ride to the hotel through the hotel. They wanted to know where we were at the airport and there were no identifying door numbers, or curb markers to tell them. Then they wanted us to take a picture of where we were and send it to them.... There was no picture we could take that would identify exactly where we were. A huge airport, we'd never been there before, had been traveling for 24 hours and we were exhausted and overwhelmed. We finally just took a cab. The room was quiet - after the people in the hallway stopped talking loudly at 2:30 AM. The room was comfortable enough for our 18 hours there. Atria Residence is close to the mall and has a unique and quiet location. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious. All tools are available in the room. They have a helpful and kind staff, especially Mrs. Lita, who in turn helped me facilitate the entry procedures, and also helped me transfer the bags to the room herself, and this service I did not see in any other hotels since my many experiences in other countries, and she also explained additionally about the city of Tangerang and the tourist sites And the services available nearby..
