Beautiful location and excellent staff. Very helpful also in extraordinary circumstances: Due to volcanic ash clouds no flights were leaving Flores and the team had to accommodate people trying to leave and then extending their stays. The hotel staff handled that very well and professionally.

take note that the seraya is on an island about 30mins from the mainland. as you arrive you will notice how beautiful the island the resort is. firstly, the villas are amazing, super clean, comfy and is well protected from mosquitoes and the heat. the facilities are amazing, you can kayak and snorkel from outside your door. also, the food, while sometimes is limited on account of them having to bring everything over from the mainland is really good. highly recommend the fish of the day and the prawns, together with the trio of sambal seraya, it’s really good! staff are really polite and accommodating and made the stay that much better!

We had a very comfortable stay at the bungalows — clean, cozy, and with breakfast included each morning. While there are small corals just in front of the resort for a quick snorkel, the real highlight is the stunning reefs reachable by boat. Claudia organizes daily trips, making it super easy to explore the area — perfect for both snorkelling and diving. Another unforgettable experience was the walking trip to Egon Volcano, which is nearby. The views were incredible and absolutely worth the hike.

    Everything! Staying a Nihi is a wonderful experience. The staff was super attentive even before we arrived at the property and after they dropped us at the airport. Sumba is a beautiful island and the Nihi area didn’t disappoint, highly recommend strolling around the beach! Of course don’t miss the horses, it was dreamy. Our villa was stunning, everything was spotless. We had a massage in our room and was one of the best ones we’ve ever had! Food and drinks were also superb, great selection to choose from. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer!

    The perfect place. Beautiful beach, very nice reef just steps from shore, good food, nice and helpful staff. You can also have a massage and dive With sea creatures diving ( they have a kiosk on the island). The resort is very compact, with tents on the sunrise side and huts are on the sunset side. In tents, you can watch the sunrise from your bed. Nice excursion to bird island ( very nice snorkeling).At night, bonefire, music or movies on the beach.Just on e downside…many sandflies.

    Stayed 1 night in the Seaview room, which is very big and comfortable! Very nice, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. This room has a great terrace with nice seats and a beautiful view over the sea, islands and all the boats. We stayed here after our Komodo 3 night boat trip, and found it the perfect hotel after this because it's so big and comfortable! Also very friendly owner!

    The location is walking distance to the beach. The views from the pool and the breakfast balconies were amazing. There are plenty of restaurants and warungs within walking distance to get cheap and amazing food. The bed was huge, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The pool was lovely.     Cannot think of a more beautiful holiday setting. Beautiful little bungalows on a beautiful beach. Nice restaurant, good food, friendly staff. And amazing snorkeling in front of the resort. Besides that, there is not much to do :) so for us 3 nights were enough!

    This is my first time to Labuan Bajo and I enjoyed very much at Padar Island to see the panoramic view. Beautiful crystal clear water at several islands. Also very interesting visiting the Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons.

    We lived in Kupang from 1984 to 1991 and knew the place and the whole province. Kupang is for those who want to experience Indonesian life as it is lived by ordinary people. We used public transport the bemos and felt very safe. GRAB also works well in Kupang.

    A very dirty, busy city.

    A very dirty, busy city. Easy to be run over and huge holes in the sidewalks. Best not to stay here. There are no restaurants. To see the Spiderweb Rice fields it is best (if traveling by car) to just stop there on your way through (takes maybe 1/2 hour) and continue on

    Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic up there so you can spend more time there and have lunch they are plenty of different spots to wonder around l. The forest is beautiful which is something you don't really see when walking through in the dark for sunrise.

    A very vibrant and busy town, as a white family we attracted a lot of attention, not always good. Uncomfortable walking around the town. We used taxis to move around the town. If I was traveling by myself I would have used public transportation, the bemos look fun!

    Anyone travelling to Maurmere should be aware there are...

    Anyone travelling to Maurmere should be aware there are severe problems with the local airport. It can be closed due to volcanic activity and if it is you will have almost no way of confirming or arranging other travel except by road. Maumere itself is pretty low service. There are no restaurants except very small local Warungs where you cannot guarantee hygiene. If staying at Cocnut beach it has a great reasturant and facilities but be aware you will likely not leave the hotel accept to do activities such as visit the Kelimutu Volcano which can also be done from other towns.

    SO many incredible things to do in and around the area.

    SO many incredible things to do in and around the area. The people were so kind and we did our PADI open water course with Dive Tribe Komodo. We did a day trip of the islands around and that was fantastic.

    The friendly atmosphere, beautiful beach scenery, nice Lippo shopping mall in the town with Matahari dept. store, and many others, nice traditional food, and Kaki Lima has beautiful traditional restaurants facing the sea. The people who do not like hot weather might find it is too hot, but there is air conditioning in the car, hotels, and the mall, Only less than 2 hours, 1 hour 40 minutes from Denpasar Ngurah Rai Airport. El Tari Airport in Kupang is very organized, clean, and modern, We rent a car organized by the hotel hourly and the trip to the airport is Rp.60,.000 from the hotel in 1 hotel car

    Higly recommended to everyone who wants to really enjoy the Ruteng and surrounding area, Waerebo village included (you can get there by motorbike). Ino and his family are awesome people, willing to help you with everything you need or want. You really become the member of the family. I would definitely come back if I visit Flores again. Breakfasts are so delicious and different every day (Im vegan and they prepared special meal for me, but I felt like a queen), beds are so comfy, they have hot shower, you can chill out at the garden or in the shed where you can also cook by yourself. They will give you valuable information and recommendations on places you should visit.. and there is much more. In the end, we are speechless, this stay exceeded our expectations.

So if u are considering whether to come or not, waste no time… book ur flights and jus get here, people here will assist u the travelling plans, but just need to be careful with some transportation charges!
