A very cozy and quiet place with an incredibly welcoming staff. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but our room was already ready, and they gave it to us without hesitation. You can also get an umbrella and a power adapter at the reception, which was really convenient. I really enjoyed the variety of breakfast options. Our room was clean and felt brand new, as if it had just been renovated. I rarely sleep well in hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed and pillows were this time. If I get the chance to visit Dublin again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

For business reasons we have (had) to travel a lot. And we've spent untold days and nights in hotels. But this one is certainly outstanding. For once we did a private trip to Dublin, not having to attend meeting after meeting. We found this hotel after another one had badly let us down by refurbishing work that made us flee it after 30 minutes. The Hyatt Centric was not only cheaper than the originally booked one, but also was perfectly situated for our needs. The international staff was more than professional, polite and friendly, almost anticipating our wishes before we knew we had them. The head receptionist, I believe that she had a Spanish name, was so focused on providing the best customer service we had for a long time in a hotel, doing this with a smile and a friendly demeanour. The room was clean to a point of nearly shining and, although the hotel is located on a busy road, noticeably quiet. My husband, a great believer in enjoying his food, was taken by the Irish breakfast and the restaurant offered for a hotel resti an interesting choice of local traditional food with a modern twist. Try the fish and chips, if you are not very adventurous and want to try more “exotic” food. You will be pleasantly surprised about the quality. The bar offers everything you can yearn for, if you are not tempted to have a night out in Dublin or want to do a warmup for it. The location is perfect. With the No. 26 bus just around the corner you have a cheap alternative to taxis to take you to the city centre for Euro 3,60 in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. All in all, you loved our stay at the Hyatt Centric. Should we ever decide to come back to Dublin, we will be staying there again. Many thanks for a lovely time.

Staff super professional and welcoming. Room was extra clean, beds very confortable and bathroom very spacious.Very center location and convenient. Receptionist was very helpful early in the morming when my luggage zipper broke he got me a box to pack my belongings as I could not use the luggage. This helped me solved the unfortunate situation.

I grew up with many fond memories of holidays visiting family in and around Dublin. I love the city, the closeness of both beaches and mountains. Dublin is now a real business hub which has made it far more diverse than when I was growing up, however, it maintains its friendly welcoming feel and is very easy to navigate. There is culture, scenery, beautiful parks, beaches, bars, music, shops - a lively and lovely city for a visit.

Dun Laoghaire is a hip spot away from the huddle of the city Center. Great walking on the pier, waterfront and through the village. Some lovely restaurants and coffee shops . Breakfast at the Vanilla bean was lovely. The famous Forty Ft swimming spot is a short walk. Lots of quaint shops and vintage secondhand stores scattered along the Main Street . Good public transport on busses , trains and taxis . Aircoach to Dublin Airport from Marine rd opp City Hall. Market in the Peoples park is well worth a visit if you’re there over the weekend. Childrens fun fair on the waterfront runs daily from 12 noon till 7 pm . €3/ ride.

It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. In the area but here are only a very small number of eating places open in the evening. We were there for a business matter, I don't think it's particularly good for leisure in the evenings,

There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you can hire a GoCar, or get one of the Many Public Buses. Dublin bus has the 24hr E1 service from Bray to Ballymun, through the City Centre, using the Stillorgan Road or the E2 from Dun Laoire to Finglas. Aircoach stops right outside. S6 to Blackrock and Tallaght Square.

Excellent day. €35 for entrance became €20 with my Seniors card. Thanks to the racecourse for this. Drink & food not exorbitant which I was half expecting so I was pleasantly surprised. We loved the seating to watch the racing where we did not have to pay any extra. A great day overall. I wish I could say the same for the nearby Clayton hotel where we were fleeced & got very poor quality. This will be an important factor if I decide to go again ( This was my first trip to Leopardstown races in over 40 years ). I generally go racing in the south of the country. Will see.
