I live in the area and have enjoyed dinner here before, but stayed for a number of nights recently due to service failures at my residence during Storm Bert. The hotel is lovely and comfortable; especially the residents’ lounge. The staff are stellar and made our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Will stay again just for fun.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with wonderful food and amenities. The staff was fantastic throughout our stay. Highly highly recommend the falconry (amazing experience!) and dinner in the Pullman restaurant, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was superb if you're looking for an outdoors vibe. The breakfast was wonderful. We're not luxury resort seekers. This hotel had a family friendly resort vibe which we liked. We don't have small children but loved seeing a playground. It's nice to see children not looking at a screen. The area has much to offer for families to do outdoor activities without spending a fortune. Silver strand beach was excellent with beautiful white sand.

Galway wasn't our favorite place to stay.

Galway wasn't our favorite place to stay. We enjoyed our day trips outside of Galway, but the traffic in and around Galway was terrible. I even asked a local and he said the traffic was always that bad. The buses we took to the city center was 45 minutes late according to the bus schedule which was probably due to traffic.

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....
