- From $143.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,314 reviewsThe staff were friendly and professional, our rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We particularly loved the bathrooms with our walk in showers, which gave that added touch of luxury. The food in the restaurant, both buffet breakfast and evening menus, was beautifully cooked (especially the sea bass, which was outstanding. Compliments to the chef.) Parking at the hotel was plentiful and well spaced and we were delighted with the ample provision for disabled guest parking as one of our group was a wheelchair user. There was plenty of space for us to take the wheelchair in and out of the car. The location of the hotel was excellent, being close enough to the city for easy access and adjacent to the main arterial routes making reaching the hotel and touring the county very easy. The spar shop and filling station on the right side of the building was a real bonus, with the added advantage of having the Terryland shopping complex a short walk away. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of booking for business or leisure in Galway city.Guest review byMcCauslandUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 503 reviewsThe hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.Guest review byJacquelineSlovenia

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Cleanliness in the room is first class. Furnitures are shiny and spotless up to the highest standard. Staffs were professional and welcoming. Friendly and very happy to help. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, the accommodation delivered on every promise of comfort and luxury. When we entered our room, the smell was lovely and refreshing, the bed looks so beautiful and comfy, room very clean and presented nicely and bathroom very clean and shiny. A special thank you to the staff Trixie and Jackie for making our stay so memorableGuest review byAnonymous - 10

This B&B was a short drive to Galway city and offered a quiet refuge. We had stayed in the city for excitement and that was just fine but the Claregalway cottage was a welcome change -- the location was near to few businesses.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....Guest review byKarenIreland - 10

All this area has a beautiful landscape with a mixture of new and old, rural yet always near towns and villages. Easy access by main roads but also along quiet lanes. It's inland but only a short drive to the coast or Shannon waterways.Guest review byGordonIreland - 10

Loughrea is a beautiful small town with an amazing lake and hills surrounding it. You can really feel the Irish vibes there. There are many pubs serving lovely food, and Hope's Bakery is worth visiting for their homemade bread and cakes.Guest review byIwona - 10

This is a super area to stay in for exploring Galway and surrounding areas. The town has plenty of shops which would make a self catering stay a possibility if needed. We had a super meal in the Stone House Pizza bar at the old barracks….would highly recommend.Guest review bySineadIreland
