We had a large family gathering, on the weekend of July 15th, with many bookings, and some changes, so it was quite complicated for the staff, but they were extremely patient and professional. We were able to reserve separate area in the bar, just for ourselves. perfect for our group. We did this on both nights and there was no charge at all. It had it own TV also, which was fantastic as it was a weekend of golf and GAA. Check in was perfect, I wish I could remember the name of the young man who did our check in, he was fantastic, and looked after us during ourstay. Other family members remarked the same thing. If management is reading this, I hope they can trace you I mention. Location is fantastic, right on the sie of the river.

We loved our stay at the Driftwood, from check in to check out, the staff were professional, friendly and made us feel most welcome. The room (we were in No.1) was warm and inviting with classical music playing upon entering and with the beautiful artwork and absolutely amazing sea views, these discreet touches along with our roll top bath and Voya products, made for a very relaxing stay. We ate lunch and breakfast there and the food was fresh and beautiful and all our questions and requests were answered and fulfilled with ease. To top it all off they have prosecco on tap 👏😂 A thoroughly memorable stay for all the right reasons.

The location of the hotel is stunning, looking out over the Atlantic and into the harbour. I requested to stay in my usual room with the harbour view and Benbulben and I got my room and it was just amazing. The coast road was amazing to walk as always. Its my favourite location in the world. The view of classiebawn Castle and Benbulben on the coast road is stunning. Two waterfalls near by at glencar are only 15 minutes drive away. Drumcliff church and WB Yeats grave close by too.

Bally mote is a small town with a big heart; close to Sligo and many other visitor attractions. It is an ideal base for those taking part in the Annual Sligo Camino which is a one day trek of 36 kms run by the Coolaney Community. This takes places every year on the first Saturday in July. The Coach House Hotel in the centre of the town has very good food; I have stayed there several times. Nearby is the Eagles Flying Centre which houses a number of Birds of Prey who are the main attraction .Well worth a visit if you like to spread your wings with the real thing!

Linda was very welcoming and obviously experienced at her job. Room was great and as described. One small issue was a regular twanging noise from the plumbing. Not loud enough to stop you sleeping but might be annoying to some. Overall the one night stay was excellent and good value. Nice to meet shep the dog too. Thanks Linda.

Lovely room but lacking thumb-lock on door.

Lovely room but lacking thumb-lock on door. If one person went out say for an early run and locked the door and another person in the room was having a lie-in, there is no way for the person inside to get out in an emergency. This is not the only place I've stayed with this problem but it needs to change before a tragedy happens. I loved the place itself, with its nice clean rooms, beautiful views and overall sense of quiet and peace. Outdoor patio with tables and a BBQ. I would definitely recommend, despite the lack of thumb-lock.
