- From US$266.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,003 reviewsI have been twice at The Lake Hotel and it's simply superb. Stunning location, amazing room and great staff make you feel like you're living in a fairytale. At the breakfast buffet there's a variety of food that can satisfy everyone. Food at the bistrò is delicious and I have really enjoyed the bar, where every night there's live music. I can't wait to go back there to have another amazing break. I really recommend this hotel.Guest review byAndreaItaly

We spent two days and one night in Killarney.
We spent two days and one night in Killarney. We used the first day to drive a lot of the Ring of Kerry. We spent several hours of the next day at Muckross House & Gardens which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's definitely worth the visit.Guest review byStohlerUnited States - 8.0
A nice town with some lovely shops, restaurants and bars.
A nice town with some lovely shops, restaurants and bars. A good base for visiting the ring of Beara, The Limetree and No.35 restaurants are lovely places to dine and there is ample bar food in the pubs too. Make sure to try out Tom Crean lager and ale!Guest review byCatherineIreland - 10.0
Lots to do and see!
Lots to do and see! If thing I would suggest if it's raining or cloudy at all don't go to sea!! We went to the Skelligs. €295 for 5 of us, couldn't see much! Disappointing to say the least! The Skellig Museum on Valentia island across the bridge was surprisingly very good. It looks funny outside & we didn't rate it much! The back of it is what you see first! The take away on the pier was disappointing. Fish & chips wasn't what you'd think it would be beside the sea. The food in both local pubs fabulous. Best to book the Moorings for evening meals. It's very busy. Kerry cliffs well worth seeing also.Guest review bylindaIreland - 6.0

We had a evening meal at the restaurant and we could not fault it The food was well prepared and very tasty. But when it came to breakfast it was not so good The scrambled egg was tasteless The pan cakes looked and tasted like they were out of a packetGuest review byStephenIreland - 10.0
Sneem is a lovely little town.
Sneem is a lovely little town. Just the right size for a wander. Everyone we met was very friendly and the Book Shop was amazing. We also bought some cards in a Craft shop that had a spinning wheel outside. Such friendly ladies in both shopsGuest review byJoyIreland - 10.0

Nice village to stay for a couple of days, lovely beach and nice restaurants, ate at Chaplins restaurant in the Butler Arms Hotel where we stayed it was excellent, also had lunch in Dooleys which was equally as good. Nice promenade walkwayGuest review byMartin - 8.0
Cahersiveen is a very charming little town.
Cahersiveen is a very charming little town. We came down from Galway, and it is much smaller with fewer pubs and restaurants. The major appeal of this town is it's proximity to gorgeous attractions like Valentia and Skellig island, and being right along the Ring of Kerry. I highly recommend staying near Cahersiveen as your base point if you plan to explore the Ring of Kerry, and if you have a rental car and are comfortable driving on smaller back roads. Strongly recommend Franks Bar and Bistro for food and drinks. Be sure to check out the castle and fort that are very close to the town!Guest review bygallagher - 10.0

It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!Guest review byKonradUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We came from Fermoy co.
We came from Fermoy co. Cork to attend the dingle food festival. While we were a consideration distance from dingle the drive to dingle from Kells was lovely and the accommodation and staff at the accommodation were very accommodating.Guest review byMaryIreland - 8.0
A great little village.
A great little village. Only 1 shop in the fuel station, but it was just about enough. Beach close by (Rossbeigh), although Kells beach was much nicer as it's more secluded and out of the wind. Unless you want the wind! Few nice short and long walks accessible from Glenbeigh.Guest review byAdamKeoughIreland
