- From US$292.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,431 reviewsThis place was a palace! Enormous rooms (Big for North America, gargantuan for Ireland). Clean, *free cookies*, balcony. Leather wing-back chairs in the bar. The staff treated us like royalty. After we got lost on the way there, the concierge offered to come find us in the dark after give me his personal mobile number! Above and beyond... I could get used to this. I'm guessing this place normally sells for a lot more than we paid, but we booked at about 10 pm the night of owing to running out of our previous hotel which appeared to be unsanitary. Still, maybe if you need the same kind of last-minute accommodations in Cork, you can get the same deal.Guest review byChreeCanada
- From US$246.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 622 reviewsThe hotel is situated in one of the most scenic parts of the northern coast of Ireland, and would be my unreserved recommendation for anyone in search of gorgeous sea views. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, airy and light. The bathrooms are modern and have a walk-in shower, and everything is sparkling clean. The food in both the bar and restaurant was good, the spa also offered everything you could ask for. And all in all a very pleasant stay.Guest review byIrisGermany

Galway is a really nice town to find trad music, good drinks and good food. Lots of nice shops and the people are incredibly welcoming. Very beautiful scenery and located close to many must see places while in Ireland, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, The Burren, Cliffs of Moher the beautiful bay. Def worth the visit when you are in Western Ireland. Very easy to get around either by foot or car, plenty of parking available (parking garage in the city centre is perfect but not free) and so much see and do it's worth spending at least 2-3 days there if you can.Guest review byRitaUnited States - 6.0

As a Londoner, Cork felt like a much larger version of Carnaby Street; vibrant and colourful with plenty of live street music. Public transport was pretty good and using the TFI Live App for getting around via bus was very easy to use. Lots of places to choose from to eat and drink and walking around (for me during the day) felt safe and relaxing. Driving is a bit of an experience; all the major surrounding roads and quite a few connecting ones had speed camera enforcement applied to them. As a first time visitor and tourist this was quite overwhelming as the Satnav was a sea of white and red lines. Speed, road and other safety signs needed a bit of familiarisation before hand; as they would for driving in any new city of the first time. Arrival for me was via Cork International Airport; shocking queues at the Avis/Budget Car Hire Desk owing, in part, to the Payless Car Hire staff not being around and visitors being directed to the Avis/Budget Desk. Inbound passengers subject to passport control which caused a bit of a delay. No obvious toilets between airside and passport control so bear that in mind if your travel needs require access to 'facilities' Not unusual I guess as compared other destinations and the timing with other inbound flights might have been unlucky on this occasion. Flew Air Lingus from Heathrow which was punctual and overall a low-stress experience. Can't really beat the National Flag Carriers when it comes to airlines! Enjoyed a short visit to Blarney Castle; opted not to join the long wait to see/kiss the Blarney Stone. In part due to having spent quite enough time hanging around to pick up the Hire-Car. Plenty to see elsewhere, the caves under the castle are fascinating and the grounds/gardens are beautiful. Well worth a visit.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We spent two days and one night in Killarney. We used the first day to drive a lot of the Ring of Kerry. We spent several hours of the next day at Muckross House & Gardens which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's definitely worth the visit.Guest review byStohlerUnited States - 10.0
We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely.
We really enjoyed Limerick. The people were lovely. The food was great. The city centre is compact and easy to get around. The Treaty City Brewery was a high spot as were the Museum of Limerick (really helpful staff) and the People's museum (shared their enthusiasms with us). We enjoyed the street art very much.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dingle is a very pretty town with a lot of pubs and restaurants although booking restaurants in advance would be advisable as Dingle is a popular tourist centre. There seems to be live Irish music in pubs every night. There are boat trips from the harbour but that is weather dependant and they did not run during the week of our stay owning to very high winds. Dingle is a great base for exploration of the beautiful Dingle PenisulaGuest review byTmiwuapomm33United Kingdom - 10.0

It is quaint without being twee - the coloured houses are iconic. We enjoyed seeing them in the real and they are so well kept. The shops sell local produce - Aran sweaters, wooden goods, art, honey etc which are well worth buying. We were there to do parkrun on Inis Meain so we spent a day there. Anyone who likes being in the wild would be in heaven. The views are amazing and the peacefulness is palpable. The pub serves hearty fare and well priced. The ferry trip was great fun but we were lucky with the weather. Eating in Doolin at night is a lively affair with trad music on in most pubs. I would love to have stayed longer.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved going into these stores: Forget Me Not and Distinctly Donegal. I enjoyed my conversation with the owner/creator of the beautiful silver jewelry at Distinctly Donegal. I will check out her website! I loved going to Slieve League and would’ve liked to spend more time hiking there.Guest review byCarolynUnited States - 10.0
