The main palace which is now government offices is very badly maintained with litter marring much of the cityscape. The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds.
