Location of the hotel is probably the best in Pondichery- in the center of French quarter(cleaner, more stylish eating, shopping and coffee places quarter) and within walkable distance from the beach. There are only 6 rooms in the property, therefore you get privacy and for example pool area was only for us :) The food was also great (we had breakfast and dinner there) and the surrounding highly contributes having any dining experience here. The other gem of this boutique hotel is its Personnel: they take extra mile in order to full fill your request and make you feel exceptional. By the way we also stayed 1 night in Villa Shanti and both these locations (La Villa & Villa Shanti) are a little bit different ( to some extent) however both are highly recommended for staying in Pondicherry.Guest review byJustinaLithuania

Small city filled with all amenities to choose the options on your own. Places for adult / elders / childrens at one destination. This place is connected to all major cities in the south. If you are travelling to enjoy drinks and relaxation then this is not the place. This area falls under Tamil Nadu jurisdiction and hence if you buy booze and drive out you will be held by the police who will seize the liquor and then impose fine. Will be harassed badly. Beautiful and relaxing. Friendly staff and very beautiful lavish greenish gardens with children play area. Great relax playing basketball, volleyball and shuttle. We went there in the month of October. I recommend everyone going to Puducherry to carry umbrellas as it was very sunny. as all know it some items we will get cheaper cost, room rent is little higher comparatively as it is under stand able being tourist city it is okay for it, auroville beach, serenity beach, restaurants are good in auroville road, meals, biriyani, chicken and vegetarian food is available.. we can book outing for water sports, mangrove forest boat ride, sea boat ride etc, kids will enjoy it....Guest review byV RAVI
