I loved this place! Decor is beautiful. Excellent bathroom, with great shower pressure and hot water. Loved that the windows had screens so that I could let in the fresh air and not have to rely on AC. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved the option of having it brought to my room. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The Peacock Restaurant at the sister hotel a short walk away had delicious food and great ambience. Overall excellent value for money (for both the restaurant and hotel).

The owners went out of their way to help with any request, and our daily hellos and goodbyes with them added a personal touch that stayed with us.     My stay at Hotel Lakend in Udaipur from December 11 to 13 was absolutely amazing! The staff, especially Ranveer Singh and his team, were top-notch. The food was a real highlight - delicious, beautifully presented, and the quality was just fantastic. Big shoutout to Arjun Belliappa for managing things so smoothly and coordinating everything. It was easy to reach him and very delight to talk with with him. Room service was really fast. Staff was always smiling and cooperative The best part? Waking up to the stunning view of the lake every morning. I even got to explore the surroundings on complimentary cycles. All in all, Hotel Lakend surpassed my expectations in every way. Highly recommend for a memorable and delightful stay

    Jaipur is an amazing place to shop for textiles, blue pottery wares, jewellery and the Pink City architecture but Best part for me is getting out to Amer village to enjoy Amber Palace and Jaigarh Fort, and walks in Amer Village, its ancient step well and elephant sanctuary.

    If you want to see Rajasthan at peace then I highly recommend to do Udaipur and Jaisalmer. Jaipur is good but chaotic. Also, hotels are more business oriented rather than a resort meant for family vacation.

    Sam Sand dunes, Longewala Border, Tanot Ma Mandir & Kuldhara village are great. Jaisalmer fort & Havelis are also good. Gedisar Lake has Laser Light & sound show in the evening but unfortunately it was not working on that day. Shree Jee Excellency has great food. Try local food like Dal-Bati Churma, Ker Sangri, Besan Gatta, Bajra Roti & Lal Maans (for Non-Veg), if available.

    If you are religious and want to go here for this very reason, then you should go ahead with it. There are around 500 temples in Pushkar with the Brahma temple being the oldest one. Else, it is not a party place or a place with adventure activities. Restaurants close by 10 PM and no non-veg or alcohol is available throughout Pushkar.

    Ajmer is an old city and the area near the railway station/hotel is poor and dilapidated. This will challenge some tourists. Not all local people are friendly but many are very friendly, helpful and curious about where you come from. I am female and was travelling on my own and found Ajmer to be a safe city. The Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti dargah and neighbouring bazaar streets are fascinating to see and a highlight of my trip!!!!!!

    The place needs a lot of work..the NE 4 highway has opened...

    The place needs a lot of work..the NE 4 highway has opened hence a lot of crowd is pouring in at sawai madhopar however the hotels are in between villages and from the road to the resort nothing is done up well. Fateh's cafe and area around are just a few places one can hang out in. The visit to the fort etc should all be handled better by the locals and police, though people were warm it's all a bit not so clean and not so tourist friendly.

    Staff is not cooperating.

    Staff is not cooperating. No TV connection, No room service, No welcome kit, frequently power cut, no AC during power cut. Window screen have been broken after little touch. Very bad experience. I have not before came to this place. You should have think twice.
