Amazing place, you will feel like a queen. Well maintained and decorated, the room was spacious, bed super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Each room has a different theme decoration. There’s a corner balcony which I stayed. Absolutely recommend 👌

We had an exceptional stay here and brought best memories home. The location of the hotel coulndt be better in the heart of the fort. The hotel itself was very new and extremely clean. The service from the hotel manager and the staffs were at its best in the industry. The view from the rooftop and our balcony were amazing, rooms spacious and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant offers very good vegetarian food and mindblowing views at sunrise and sunset time.

The rooms are good, very comfortable. All of the staff are extremely helpful, and the owner is hands on and happy to help too. The breakfast is simple but we really enjoyed it. While a short way from the pink city area itself we had no issues getting Tuk Tuks using uber for short journeys, and for longer journeys the hotel can arrange a Tuk Tuk for you. They arranged one for us to go to Amber Fort and some other places out of town, and we were very happy with the driver they provided (Mohammad Aslam). Excellent English, showed us a couple of extra places which were worth visiting, and was not pushy about going to factories/shops/restaurants (though gave us the option).

I decided to go alone to visit the city of Pushkar, and upon arriving at the hotel, I immediately felt at home. The hotel is very beautiful, the room is very comfortable and cozy, with terraces overlooking the lake and the entire city. Ranjeet, his wife, and Lisa are definitely the best hosts I could have asked for. I arrived looking for a refuge, and I felt so comfortable that I extended my stay at the hotel for another 4 days. I was even able to practice yoga in the terrace, inspired with a great view. Undoubtedly, the best experience of my trip to India.

For people, who want to break free from hustle and bustle of city life, look no further in Udaipur. As the name suggests, it's a resort, nestled among flora and fauna. It's surrounded by hills on all side almost, which beem with forest life i.e. trees of different species laden with several different types of flowers , shrubs, birds of different species chirping all along the day, squirrels hoping around and potentially some more small animals if you go further towards hills. Once we arrived here, we instantly felt connected to the mother nature. It's so calm and serene, you let go all your worries and free your mind from otherwise many mundane thoughts. Once you attain decluttered, you start appreciating the place. You want to go to hills, pluck wild flowers and run around like a kid. I was arranged with a guide to take me to top of hills. I was able to trek upwards in 30 minutes, where you get to see some breathtaking views of hills, fields, flowers valley on other side. The trekking was complimentary, to my surprise. About facilities : the best thing that stands out is "food", they offered a good amount of options for both veg and non-veg, and one can be assured of quality and taste. My wife is bit hard to be pleased for being picky about food, but she was wowed with delicious food, what we had in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was our wedding anniversary and they made it special by decorating room to our heart's content, which was a surprise to my wife from me. Furthermore, to make our evening special, they arranged outdoor dinner by pool with bonfire, to keep us warm during low temperatures of January. One notable mention - i am bewildered that they let us check in as early as 7 am in morning. They upgraded our room with a nominal charge and helped us with swift check in. It has happened for first time, that we could check in this early at any hotels/resorts. This shows, how important the customer satisfaction is for them.

Hotel Lakend exceeded my expectations at every level! Hats off to General Manager Arjun Belliappa for bringing 5 star service, attention, and care to a property that need not necessarily have that. From housekeeping, to room service, to restaurant staff and leadership, to hotel management it was clear that the goal was to provide the level of excellence that guests might receive at the finest resorts in India, and indeed the staff not only strove for this but usually hit the mark. I am more often disappointed with hotels in India than impressed, and Lakend has left a lasting and memorable impression. I hope that the hotel group's management realizes and appreciates what a gem of a leader they have in GM Belliappa - when on duty he is constantly getting to know the guests and striving to see how the hotel can meet each guest's unique and different needs. Again, I am deeply impressed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. To the staff of Lakend - job well done! Please know that guests like me see it and appreciate it.

After a series of overpriced supposedly luxury hotels in India this was the first one that really got it right that wasn't crazy expensive. Place was wonderfully clean, luxuriously decorated (!), room was great, shower was at least very good, beds were very clean, towels good, bathroom spacious, breakfast and restaurant was excellent, second best of the whole trip of ~10 hotels, nice pool and rooftop, awesome courtyard. MRG group seems to "get it" compared to a whole series of properties that just don't seem to understand what they are getting wrong. I mean, they had a guy dusting the lamp shades one by one with a cloth! Stay here!

If you are religious and want to go here for this very reason, then you should go ahead with it. There are around 500 temples in Pushkar with the Brahma temple being the oldest one. Else, it is not a party place or a place with adventure activities. Restaurants close by 10 PM and no non-veg or alcohol is available throughout Pushkar.

Ajmer is an old city and the area near the railway station/hotel is poor and dilapidated. This will challenge some tourists. Not all local people are friendly but many are very friendly, helpful and curious about where you come from. I am female and was travelling on my own and found Ajmer to be a safe city. The Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti dargah and neighbouring bazaar streets are fascinating to see and a highlight of my trip!!!!!!

The place needs a lot of work..the NE 4 highway has opened hence a lot of crowd is pouring in at sawai madhopar however the hotels are in between villages and from the road to the resort nothing is done up well. Fateh's cafe and area around are just a few places one can hang out in. The visit to the fort etc should all be handled better by the locals and police, though people were warm it's all a bit not so clean and not so tourist friendly.

Alwar has extraordinary architectural treasures and is beautifully situated. However like a lot India it does require patience. The main palace which is now government offices is very badly maintained with litter marring much of the cityscape. That said the art ( in the museum’s unexpectedly good collection of Rajput paintings) and architecture more than makes up for the overall neglect.
