As the name suggests, it's a resort, nestled among flora and fauna. It's surrounded by hills on all side almost, which beem with forest life i.e. trees of different species laden with several different types of flowers , shrubs, birds of different species chirping all along the day, squirrels hoping around and potentially some more small animals if you go further towards hills. Once we arrived here, we instantly felt connected to the mother nature. It's so calm and serene, you let go all your worries and free your mind from otherwise many mundane thoughts. Once you attain decluttered, you start appreciating the place. You want to go to hills, pluck wild flowers and run around like a kid. I was arranged with a guide to take me to top of hills. I was able to trek upwards in 30 minutes, where you get to see some breathtaking views of hills, fields, flowers valley on other side. The trekking was complimentary, to my surprise. About facilities : the best thing that stands out is "food", they offered a good amount of options for both veg and non-veg, and one can be assured of quality and taste. My wife is bit hard to be pleased for being picky about food, but she was wowed with delicious food, what we had in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was our wedding anniversary and they made it special by decorating room to our heart's content, which was a surprise to my wife from me. Furthermore, to make our evening special, they arranged outdoor dinner by pool with bonfire, to keep us warm during low temperatures of January. One notable mention - i am bewildered that they let us check in as early as 7 am in morning. They upgraded our room with a nominal charge and helped us with swift check in. It has happened for first time, that we could check in this early at any hotels/resorts. This shows, how important the customer satisfaction is for them.Guest review bySubirUnited Arab Emirates

It has an incredibly lake view which can be enjoyed not only from the restaurant and rooftop but also from multiple resting spots in the entire building. The room was very big and so was the bathroom. The staff is very kind and helpful. They have a travel desk available which helped us plan our entire trip at a super fair price. It also arranged airport drop off 👌. I can recommend their travel desk more than any online tourism portal. The restaurant has a very nice variety and is delicious, we did not ate anywhere else because nothing can beat the view and taste of the food. They serve with love and really represent the India Culture of hospitality and serving a guest. All the staff members right from housekeeping, restaurant, front desk as well as gatekeeper are very good. They keep asking if there is something they can do better and how is the stay etc. Special mention to Mr Govind in restaurant for serving us and Mr Vikram (gatekeeper) for guiding us on local tours and arranging transport at reasonable prices. The City Palace stood out as an architectural marvel exploring its rich history, intricate mosaics, and stunning lake views was a highlight. We loved our sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, which offered dreamy vistas of Jag Mandir and the surrounding hills. Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Monsoon Palace also made for memorable, peaceful outings, perfect for couples seeking romance and great photo opportunities. We tried several excellent restaurants: Upre by 1559 AD was our favorite for its rooftop ambiance and delicious Mewari cuisine. We also enjoyed the vegetarian thali at Natraj Dining Hall, and had a memorable lakeside dinner at Raaj Bagh, which combined great food with beautiful views. For a unique touch, breakfast at Millets of Mewar offered healthy and innovative local fare. Getting around is mostly easy, especially if you use ride-sharing apps like Ola or Uber for airport transfers and short city rides. Within the old city, many attractions are walkable, but some roads are narrow, so auto-rickshaws or tuk-tuks are handy for zipping through the lanes. Renting a bike is a good option if you want more flexibility, though traffic can be a bit hectic at times. Young couples will love watching the sunset or taking a private boat ride on Lake Pichola for a romantic experience. Don’t miss an evening cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli or the Dharohar Dance Show for a lively introduction to Rajasthani folk arts. Exploring Udaipur’s colorful old city markets, enjoying rooftop dinners with city views, and visiting art galleries or pottery workshops add creative, fun, and memorable experiences to your trip.
