PolandWe stayed in the hotel 2 nights and we liked it a lot. The hotel is situated next to the beautiful lake Myvatn. There’s a free parking area next to the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food was always freshly prepared. We spent the evenings playing darts 🎯 and drinking their craft beer 🍻 I would like to thank the staff of the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful with smiley faces. We didn’t use the sauna and hot tubs but they looked nice. A nice compliment was free coffee and tea any time you wanted in the lobby. I recommend this hotel everyone who seeks for comfort and hospitality.

GermanyVery lovely place to stay at! Everything was spotless (so the shared bathroom wasn‘t a problem at all). The kitchen was well equipped and really big so multiple people could cook at the same time.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we would have definitely stayed longer if we could.
Their ice cream is delicious too!

Super hot radiators, which in winter saved our life :). Although the breakfast is in the village, there was a common room opposite our building where there were tables and all necessary kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal or something hot to drink. Very well equipped. We came late at night, the reception was closed, but the room key was left for us plus directions to the room. Breakfast in the village restaurant very nice. I watched the Aurora in front of the accommodation for two days without stopping~^^ The heating was good and it was warm. It's in front of Lake Myvatn, so the view is good. If you open the window at the back, you can see the Volcano's Caldera. I stayed there for 2 days, and the old man at the reception was very friendly. ^^ The two dogs were very friendly.. had a comfortable stay. We visited all the famous sites The Thermal baths was great. A big area (and currently expanding). The restaurant there was very reasonably priced for Iceland. They made a great coffee. Food was good. Went to the geothermal site which was pretty amazing. We hiked up Hverfjall, theextinct volcano which was interesting. I’m 2/3 of circumnavigating Iceland, and I have to say that this area is the weirdest landscape yet—in a good way. In a small area there are extinct volcanoes, steaming hillsides, lakes with strange lava 'islands', ethereal mountains…….. so strange. So beautiful. Spent a day and a half in the Lake Mývatn area. Loved it.
Spent a day and a half in the Lake Mývatn area. Loved it. There is so much to see and do: crater hikes, thermal baths, geothermal areas, bird watching, lava features. And just overall, it has beautiful views of farms and countryside. Both relaxing and exciting.
