- From US$183.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,064 reviewsThe place was amazing, with a very nice view to the beautiful town and the harbour! The rooms were well equpped and warm, comfortable and clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very well maintained, it offers a lot of information and the design inside was very nice. Higly recommend! P. S. If you have enjoyed the movie "Eurovision", in the bar next to the hotel (which is named after the famous song from the movie - ja ja ding dong), there is a museum with an exibition of the props and on the other side of the entrance of the hotel, you can find the little elf houses fron the movie, very cute. I think the exibition will be there for 2 more years (this info needs to be double checked though). Opening hours are strange, so make sure you give a call to make sure when when a visit will be possible.Guest review byA. BozadzhievaBulgaria

I go there many times per year, sometimes for errands, sometimes for days or weekends off. It's cute, it's cosy, wonderful cafeterias (and bakeries with great cafeterias), great restaurants, I love it. It's also very walkable if one is on vacation in town center.Guest review byHeimisdóttirIceland - 10.0
We visited all the famous sites
We visited all the famous sites The Thermal baths was great. A big area (and currently expanding). The restaurant there was very reasonably priced for Iceland. They made a great coffee. Food was good. Went to the geothermal site which was pretty amazing. We hiked up Hverfjall, theextinct volcano which was interesting. Went to Dentifoss and Selfoss which were very impressive We enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visitGuest review byLawsonAustralia - 10.0
Whale watching was awesome!
Whale watching was awesome! An absolute must do when visiting Husavik. Dining options are good, but you might want to stay at a place with cooking facilities to improve options and affordability Definitely check out the local museum. Very interesting and well worth a visitGuest review byTomUnited States - 8.0

There wasn't a single thing wrong.
There wasn't a single thing wrong. From the place, to the location, the host, avaliable conveniences while being isolated to relax. The pool outside brings everything to an 11. Enjoying the warmth with the cold outside while gazing at the stars, just what the doctor ordered.Guest review byGenNetherlands - 8.0
My stay at the guesthouse was a bit of a mixed bag.
My stay at the guesthouse was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the self-check-in process was a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of cleanliness and the spaciousness of my room. The facilities, including the WiFi and kitchen, were top-notch, and I had no complaints on that front. However, there were a few quirks that left me feeling a bit unsure. The surrounding farm was somewhat peculiar, but I must admit that I'm not exactly an expert on farming, and I didn't book this place for its agricultural charm. The absence of any human interaction with the host was a tad disconcerting. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, and a friendly welcome or some local insights would have been appreciated. One noteworthy detail was the water quality, which had a distinct sulfur smell. While this might be normal for the area, it would have been helpful if the host had mentioned it beforehand. In summary, the guesthouse had fantastic facilities, but the lack of host interaction and the peculiar farm surroundings left me with mixed feelings. Plus, a heads-up about the unique water scent would have been a considerate touch. However, all in all, good to very good value for the money.Guest review byThomas - 10.0

I was travelling for business, but was very pleasantly surprised by Akureyri - a very nice town with good facilities, great resturants and bars, and everything within walking distance. There seemed to be a lot of things to do for tourists, but I was working so couldn't take advantage of them this time. Very picturesque location at the bottom of a Fjord, much nicer location than Rekjavik. It's a bit of a pain to get to from Rekjavik area (flight by small plane, or 5 hr drive) but well worth it once you're there.Guest review byDouglasUnited Kingdom
