- From US$274.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 749 reviewsWe stayed at the Frost and Fire hotel from the 28th December - 1st January. From the time we arrived until the time we left, the staff couldn't do enough for us. They were very friendly and approachable. Marianne even made us a packed lunch as we had to leave before breakfast for the airport. We really appreciated it. The views are breathtaking. We were very lucky that it snowed during the time we were there. The natural hot springs baths were an added special extra! We took a walk from the hotel up the mountain (the hotel will give you a route). We really recommend you do this! It took around 2 hours! We booked to go on a northern lights tour. You should definitely do this, but know it isn't guaranteed to see them. However, we saw the lights from the hotel on two evenings, so there is definitely a chance you can for that! The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We could see the sunrise every morning! Wow! The food needs to be mentioned. It was delicious and worth every penny. We had breakfast and an evening meal twice there. The Icelandic buffet on New Year’s Eve was amazing! Also the fireworks were out of this world! 🎆 We walked up the mountain path to see them and would definitely recommend you do that!Guest review byJoannaUnited Kingdom

We spent the evening playing board games at the bar, our rooms were clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was very good! The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I get the chance! :-)Guest review byKostasDenmark

Having to 'get around Ring Road' definitely has its drawbacks. The biggest one we found was when you found a great place, your time there was limited. We did stop for the Lava Show in Vik, which was great, and we had dinner there as well. There was not enough time to really see everything before having to move on.Guest review byAdams - 8.0

The waters and views of the glaciers viewed from a far are beautiful. Also some of the little food places reflect the cosiness of a working port. Quaint working port village. Worth a stop or basing yourself there to visit the surrounding geography.Guest review byBennettAustralia - 8.0

A small and quiet town between the capitol of Iceland and some of the main tourist sites. Right on the way to Skógafoss and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Diamond Beach. There is a street food truck run by a nice man and woman. Definitely check it out!Guest review byAbdullahUnited States - 4.0

Iceland is a very expensive place to travel and this guest house was average price for Iceland but the quality of the rooms were low average. Our room had such a bad slope on it we had to sleep at the other end of the bed with our heads above our feet. The bathroom had a toilet in the middle of the room, you had to walk around it to get to the shower and even though the room came with breakfast included it was very poor quality.Guest review byLinford - 10

Great place in south of Iceland.
Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.Guest review byJonastRussia - 8.0
