Where to start?! The best place for a summer vacation on the beach for a family with children. Spacious reception area, spacious rooms with sea view, access to the beach, nice swimming pools for kids, they even have a stage for night shows. Great bar/resturant by the pool. Excellent breakfast. Also the area surrounding the hotel is truly nice. They also have a shuttle that takes you to city and back at different times. Everyone working there is just beautiful and super helpful. I really want to thank them all. I especially thank Nicola at the reception who was exceptional in arranging our activities for the day. Also Sasha and Guilia were truly nice. We had a great time and will definitely come again, and I highly recommend for a family with children. A big thank you!

The staff was very friendly and helped with any questions that we had about the area. We could rent for free bikes from the hotel, we got discount for 3 restaurants from the hotel and we got free sunbeds on the beach.     The best camping village we visited in 7 years of traveling with kids. Common areas are fantastic: the pool with nice bar, playgrounds, fitness area, beach with included sun benches and umbrella. The houses are cute, clean and well equipped. Some have larger areas in front for sun benches. We had a bit scarce outdoor space. Staff is very friendly, both in the cafes, bars and animation. Very easy and quick check in and check out. The program of activities is very diverse and we had several options to join every day to the taste of both adults and kids. Also, it is close to the main city in the area and we enjoyed walks in Bibione, as well as a day car trip to Trieste. Variety of options for food, also for takeaway.

    The hotel is really close to the beach. We went swimming in almost November and there were 26 degrees. Beach is large for walks or play with children. Near the beach there is good restaurant and in front we had a parking space (I guess in the season it is full). There is a ferry that takes you directly to the Venice Marco Polo square only 15min drive with a car to the port. Staff in the hotel was really friendly. Breakfast was ok (italian style :) ).

    Beautiful hotel in an excellent beachfront position. The room was a junior suite overlooking the Adriatic With a lovely balcony. Very comfortable bed and ample storage for clothes. Bathroom had a great rain shower. Small fridge for drinks etc.. Kettle to make tea and Coffee. Outside had lovely poolside with sun beds and 30sec walk to the sandy beach. Excellent staff in hotel .. We were the first guests of the season Try it you wont be disappointed

    The best choice of the hotel for winter. Everybody who loves and visit Lignano in the winter as well, knows very well, that not a lot of hotels are open. Most of opened hotels are without heating,without warming beddings, but Columbus has all! Perfect position, comfortable bed, good equipment of the room, tasty rich breakfast, clean rooms, 24 hours reception which I appreciate. I am regular customer already 2 years.

    Jesolo was quiet and lots of restaurants closed for the...

    Jesolo was quiet and lots of restaurants closed for the season, however still enough choices. We travelled 4th October. The transport options were still excellent and extremely good value, we used buses and ferries. We travelled to Venice via coach from Jesolo bus station and also to punta sabbioni to catch the ferry to island hop to Bruano and murano then on to Venice to then catch the direct ferry back to punta Sabbioni (which is about 25 mins on local bus from the closest bus stop (5 mins) from Superior Beach aparthotel. Jesolo was clean and the beach, being out of bathing water season was still very clean and tidy and wonderful to walk on, the sand is very soft. We would definitely visit during May - Sept also.

    Grado is such an amazing location with its historical center, cathedral and breathtaking landscape; also the surroundings are absolutely wonderful: Gorizia is such a lovely city to visit and, if you have got the chance, go for her Transalpina Railways in the heart of Slovenia :)

    Lignano has all you need for a comfy vacation. Lovely beaches, a lot of nature, great shopping, excellent choice of restaurants and food establishments. Be aware that at the end of September many places in Lignano Pineta start to close so you need to travel to other parts of Lignano for shopping / eating out but parking is easy so not a big deal. I enjoyed walking around the town with very little auto and human traffic around :).

    Carole's beach was perfect for us.

    Carole's beach was perfect for us. It was sandy, gently sloping, and jellyfish-free. In the evenings, the central streets of the town turn into pedestrian zones with various attractions. During our vacation, we managed to visit a Miró and Dalí exhibition at the Centro Culturale Bafile as well! The beach promenade behind the hotels offers excellent opportunities for nighttime strolls and is also great for morning runs. At the end of the promenade, near the Chiesa della Madonna dell'Angelo, the night and daytime views are stunning.

    Cavallino-Treporti is a very good, family-oriented beach town. Less crowded, more green with trees and farm fields instead of high rise towers on the beach. Most bike-friendly area with excellent paths across the island. Took an easy ferry to Burano, which was a wonderful day, less touristic than Murano and just as pretty. Excellent choice of restaurants and a great fireworks show on the beach on that weekend's Saturday.

    Charming little village with beautiful scenery of pine forest. Perfect for families as well as adults looking for quiet holiday destination. Beaches are wide and clean with all amenities which you need. Very good choice of restaurants option with delicious sea food.

    Compared to crowded Caorle, Duna Verde is quite quiet place.

    Compared to crowded Caorle, Duna Verde is quite quiet place. Couple of good restaurants, two small shops, beach not overcrowded, nice sea. Big supermarket 3 km, Caorle 8 km. The place in the restaurants is recommended to be booked upfront.

    just behind the hotel is a strip where all the bars,shops , restaurants are located. they all appeared to be of a very high standard. great beer options. food is made to a very good standard. We went into John Martins , Mary's , Route 66 and theB. live music venue. drink and food prices reasonable. the beach is sunbeds cheek by jowl, but the hotel alocates sunbeds. very safe beach and warm meditteranian sea. use insect bite cream though due to the lagoon location.

    An isle, very quiet, not much crowded, there is a...

    An isle, very quiet, not much crowded, there is a possibility to find a free beach easily. Dining and coffee area in the midst of the city is perfect. Old town we loved a lot. It was a perfect location for a trip with small kids (3 and 5 years old)
