- From US$490.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 358 reviewsThe breakfast spread was impressive! Even though we were there for three nights, we never got sick of the breakfast spread. The salad and cheese bar at dinner was also great, although the dinner courses we had on the first night had room for improvement. The location was perfect! It was right by the main promenade in Ortisei, and a short walk to the Seceda and Alpe di siusi cable cars. The spa facilities were beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the hydrafacial and sports massage that we booked after a tiring day of hiking. I can see myself returning for a longer stay to enjoy the facilities. There are sufficient facilities to keep you occupied even if you stayed at the hotel throughout the day.Guest review byGenevieveSingapore

Staff were exceptionally nice and catered for all of our needs. The staff member that stood out the most was Abbas. He was very helpful and kind. But needless to say all staff members were more than exceptional. I needed to go to the hospital during my stay and the care and attention I received from the hotel was second to none!Guest review byRobert O MahonyIreland

Came for The Last Supper, but there is so much to see in Milan! Mini Venice at the Navigli District was so nice, free food with aperitif, nights lights at the Duomo and beautiful arcade joining the square was a stunning first night. Sforza Castle, Arco della Pace & Sempione Park, lovely trams and cafés, and got a seat at La Latteria for supper! Day trip to lake Como, fun waterfall at Bellano, beautiful Bellagio, stunning views from the ferries, with sunset over the amazing garden at Lenno. Monumental Cemetery of Milan was a brilliant surprise! MASSIVE collection of sculptures and art from the most powerful families in Milan. Free to explore, a peaceful amazing place. Somehow got the window seat at Café Marchesi 1824, tour of amazing La Scala Opera House, beautiful Duomo views and stained glass at the back is a highlight. Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro has a clever use of perspective to make it look bigger. Fabulous trip! Need a rest now! 😂Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved the absence of motor vehicles, just people walking everywhere. The seafood was great! We enjoyed a tour of Doge's Palace, and a tour of Burano and Murano (including a glass blowing demonstration).Guest review byJoseUnited States - 8.0

If you compare Verona city center to that of Florence, it is far more condensed, which makes it easy to get around particularly on foot. If you're looking to take in most of the sites, purchasing the Verona Card makes life easier. That said, most sites are closed on Mondays, so plan accordingly. You can visit most everything in two-days. Would recommend spending a third day for a day trip to Lake Garda or the nearby vineyards.Guest review byTeresaUnited States - 6.0

Turin has lots going for it - beautiful boulevards, piazzas, some fantastic museums and great food and wine. Unfortunately our experience was heavily influenced by the pollution which meant that we couldn’t see any views of the city from any of the viewing points (eg the Mole and the basilica). The city was also covered everywhere with graffiti which ruined many buildings and made it feel a very neglected and run down city.Guest review byClaudiaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bergamo may not be on everyone’s travel radar but it’s the perfect size city for on foot exploring with many beautiful sites and interesting history. It’s an easy 1 hour train ride from Milano Centrale and fairly close to Lake Garda for a day trip.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

The area of Mestre near the train station is safe and convenient, but not very pretty. Like many cities, it has a large immigrant population, so it doesn't feel very Italian, which you expect to when in Italy. HOWEVER, once you walk to the center of Mestre, about 15 minutes from the train station, or a couple stops by bus/tram, the town center of Mestre is really lovely with a great museum, big pretty square, nice shops and lots of great places to have a spritz and some ciccheti outside, so I definitely recommend people to take the time to see the town center. That said, we did enjoy all the non-Italian places to eat in Mestre, we had some great Indian food, which was a comforting break after eating Italian food for 3 weeks.Guest review byChris and NicoleUnited States - 8.0

Trieste was the end port for our cruise and we had planned for a day trip to Ljubljana that went perfectly since we were next to the bus and train stations. Also, a sailboat racing event (Barcolana 57) was being held that weekend, with exhibitions, food and music events happening in and around the port area.Guest review byRaulUnited States - 6.0

Como is absolutely over crowded with tourists, this was mid October. It was a 45-60 minute queue waiit to buy a ferry ticket and same to get on if your lucky. We went to Bellagio via local bus C130 and returned by ferry much easier to get ticket . Lots of good Restraunt’s.Guest review byAdrianAustralia - 10.0

College town with nice squares, historic buildings, museums and university without all the tourists. No big tourist groups or buses. Felt more like a real livable city with a local community. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable relative to the more popular tourist locations.Guest review byDR Ron GUnited States - 10.0
Lovely location, easy access by road, bus or ferry.
Lovely location, easy access by road, bus or ferry. Great place to be based in order to explore other towns on Lake Garda. Very good ferry service. The old town of Sirmione is very picturesque, lots of restaurants and shops. Still very busy when we visited in early October and would be even more so in the summer months, quieter in the evenings when day trippers have gone. Nice walk around the peninsula and good view from the top of Scaligero Castle.Guest review byElizabethGuernsey
