No breakfast included but there were already coffee, tea, some snacks, milk and water available for free on arrival. Do online check in before so that you can directly get your book once you arrive. We loved everything about this hotel. The staff are amazing, the location right in front of a Vaperetto stop, the beautiful building with its recent renovation being perfectly balanced and on-point. I love how they left the fresco art while building the modern rooms below them. The social gathering area on each floor was an awesome space to do photo editing, catching up on emails, or even having a drink while meeting others staying in the hotel. I'd like to give a special mention for the amazing team at this hotel. Prior to arriving, we had sent several emails asking a number of questions. The team always replied promptly and with the following signature, "we remain at your disposal". Throughout our stay, that's exactly how we felt. The entire team was always available to help us. Unfortunately, I lost the record of their names, but I'd like to especially recognize the front desk people and the bartender of Philippines descent (moved to Italy when he was 8) for their truly amazing service. They went out of their way to make our stay was as comfortable as possible.

A truly perfect boutique hotel with stunning views of Venice! Although it wasn’t our first time visiting the city, staying at this hotel made us fall in love with it all over again. The hotel is beautifully stylish, features a charming garden (which must be wonderful to enjoy during the warmer months), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The next time we’re in Venice, we’ll definitely be staying here again!

We have been in Alpenschlössl in December 2022. Very clean, good spa area with attentive personnel. This part of hotel is great for people who wants to have more calm atmosphere than in the main building. By the way very good quality of manicure, a that is rare to find. Takes time but worth it 100%. Cool bar with view, a cocktails and intertainment. I have forgotten my belongings in the room and they were sent directly home. Service was great!

Fantastic first time time stay at la rocca camp site. Travelling as a family of 6 with 4 young children. Facilities were fantastic. Super clean. Pools heated and so much fun. Best kids club, plenty to do. In the kids club, it is clear the staff are well trained and competent. They engaged with the children and have made it such a memorable holiday. This was my first visit to Venice, and the beauty and charm were breathtaking. However, be prepared for the difficulties you may encounter traveling with luggage over the streets and bridges. We are an elderly couple, and thankfully several kind folks provided assistance. All of the people we met in Venice were warm and welcoming.

We did four and a half days with included a day trip to lake Garda. Verona is beautiful. Lots to see especially if you like History. I would suggest getting to Juliets balcony first thing as it got super busy and definitely go inside as the building is beautiful and you get to go on the balcony. This was the busiest place. Gorgeous churches and good shopping. If you do a walking tour you can probably do it in two days but we wanted to have a more restful exploration of the city so skipped the walking tour and went to places ourselves with lots of stops for icecream and hot chocolate! There are beautiful gardens near the Roman theatre and palace apartments which are definitely recommended! There are also great galleries and view points as well as the oldest continuously used library!

Turin is a fantastic city, it steals your heart!

Turin is a fantastic city, it steals your heart! People from Turin are kind and funny, and the vibe is great, with lots of young people to meet. The food is amazing, along with the wine. There are many areas to pick for your lunches, aperitifs and dinners out. To me, a week is not enough to explore everything, as there’s so much to see both in the city and its surroundings. The history and beauty of Turin will leave you speechless. Turin is easy to discover by public transport.

Beautiful old city which you can spend hours wandering around. The countryside is fabulous around it and the views magnificent. Bergamo has a brilliant transport system, airport only 2 miles from town and main train station there too. Busses are good. Shopping centre is very good too.

The area of Mestre near the train station is safe and...

The area of Mestre near the train station is safe and convenient, but not very pretty. Like many cities, it has a large immigrant population, so it doesn't feel very Italian, which you expect to when in Italy. HOWEVER, once you walk to the center of Mestre, about 15 minutes from the train station, or a couple stops by bus/tram, the town center of Mestre is really lovely with a great museum, big pretty square, nice shops and lots of great places to have a spritz and some ciccheti outside, so I definitely recommend people to take the time to see the town center. That said, we did enjoy all the non-Italian places to eat in Mestre, we had some great Indian food, which was a comforting break after eating Italian food for 3 weeks.

Como is absolutely over crowded with tourists, this was mid October. It was a 45-60 minute queue waiit to buy a ferry ticket and same to get on if your lucky. We went to Bellagio via local bus C130 and returned by ferry much easier to get ticket . Lots of good Restraunt’s.

College town with nice squares, historic buildings, museums and university without all the tourists. No big tourist groups or buses. Felt more like a real livable city with a local community. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable relative to the more popular tourist locations.

Lovely location, easy access by road, bus or ferry. Great place to be based in order to explore other towns on Lake Garda. Very good ferry service. The old town of Sirmione is very picturesque, lots of restaurants and shops. Still very busy when we visited in early October and would be even more so in the summer months, quieter in the evenings when day trippers have gone. Nice walk around the peninsula and good view from the top of Scaligero Castle.
