- From $133.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.3Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 80 reviewsOk so we booked The Corvino resourt centrally to Monopoli so we could tour La Puglia on our motorcycles. In this respect its an ideal location but otherwise its a 15 minute drive to the old town centre of Monopoli. On the other hand Pongiana al Mare, Ostuno, Locorotunda, Alberobello, Lecce and Matera are all the nice idylic old towns easily accessible by driving from the Corvino. The old town of Monopoli is quite amazing with its imposing 'Duomo' cathedral and big square full of restaurants and brasseries, even a great Japanese restaurant there too offering great Sushi! The Via Garibaldi below this square is also adorned with boutique shops for shopping the known fashion names too. Its parking facilities are fantastic with 24/7 security guard watch which is exactly why we booked the Corvino as we wanted secure parking for our classic motorcycles! They, the Security staff, Ormando and the rest are very nice and helpful and we enjoyed talking to them as we went in and out of this resort, they even organised our taxies for us too!! The bedroom was a bit small but clean, bathroom was fine too if you don't mind hitting your elbows on the shower's glass doors as you shower ;) Unfortunately they gave us a room which was way too far away from the reception and restaurant in the resort. Conversely we were very close to the beach and their Lido, which in September was closed down!! Most of the facilities at the Corvino had closed down by now, no pizzeria too... this is endemic to Italy in general as after their 'ferroagusto' month long national holiday everything starts to close down anyway. The Lido Bar was supposed to be open but I think only short hours during the day. The in house restaurant served us Breakfast and dinner on a buffet self-service which was plentiful and the food was generally quite good too! The hotel Staff were very nice and courteous to us and Alessandro helped us in every way too.Guest review byRaymondMalta
- From $81.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 459 reviewsIt has been a nice place in the middle of the countryside, a large area actually divided into two buildings. One building was a restaurant and grocery store where you could buy some probably homemade jams, salami, cheeses, etc. A little further away was the other building where there was a B&B and factory that you could perhaps go in and look around, but I didn't. The room was nice, reasonable, comfortable beds, large bathroom and an outside walkway so it was nice to be able to go out and not feel trapped with only windows. Wifi worked well. The staff was very nice and helpful. The downside was that it was relatively cold inside, probably central A/C and it couldn't be regulated in the room. But there were warm blankets so I didn't freeze at night anyway. The other downside was that although there was a dining room in this building, breakfast was still served in the first building and it was a bit of a walk. I had to take the car as I am after leg surgery and have a bit of difficulty walking. So the place is not very suitable for a person with reduced mobility. The breakfast was good and there was also salami and cheeses, not just pastries. There was also a restaurant so you could have dinner or lunch and refreshments so that was nice. As I said it was a nice place, a real agricultural place and a lot to do around as there was a forest too with different activities so it might be nice to stay there for a couple of days and explore a bit.Guest review byMichaelaSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 709 reviewsIt was one of the best experiences I‘ve ever had. The Trulli was stunningly beautiful and impeccably clean, just as depicted in the video. The stuff was very kind and helpful they gave us some advice regarding the tourism. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. I highly recommend trying this experience; it‘s incredibly romantic and charming.Guest review bySaraAustria
- From $115.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 542 reviewsThe pool was great for kids. It has a big area with shallow water. For adults, nearby forest with "exercise trail" was an opportunity to "hit the gym". But then, with the amount of awesome local food and wine, it was necessary. The room was cleaned every day and it showed.Guest review byLudovit MydlaSlovakia

Bari and especially Old Town possessed a Mediterranean spirit that surprised us! The cuisine and especially the seafood offerings were outstanding. People were helpful and friendly and patient with those of us whose Italian fluency is challenged. We hope to return soon and spend more time in this charming city.Guest review byBrooke AnnUnited States - 10.0
Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia.
Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia. Loved getting lost in the maze of narrow streets in the Old Town. Recommended Calette Torre Cintola to a couple staying at our hotel and they loved it as well. Also Recommended Micasa which has great location, friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices.Guest review byDavidAustralia - 8.0

Polignano a Mare is very much a tourist destination with lots of people packed into a small centre. It is worth a visit but perhaps not an extended stay when there are so many other (more interesting) places to visit in Puglia.Guest review byDamianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Giovinazzo has truly become my favorite holiday destination...
Giovinazzo has truly become my favorite holiday destination – I have already returned three times in the past two years, and I can honestly say there is no better place to spend a vacation. The old town is simply magical: narrow streets full of history, charming squares, and breathtaking views along the sea promenade. I especially love the central piazza and the harbor area, where the atmosphere is lively yet very authentic. When it comes to food, Giovinazzo never disappoints. There are plenty of small local restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Apulian dishes, and, of course, delicious Italian gelato. Dining outside in the piazza in the evenings is an unforgettable experience. Getting around the town is very easy – everything is within walking distance, and the beauty of Giovinazzo is best enjoyed on foot as you wander through the old streets and along the seafront. For other solo travelers, I would recommend simply taking the time to explore the old town at your own pace, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly locals, and the unique southern Italian charm. Watching the sunset by the sea or having a coffee in the main square are small but perfect pleasures here. Giovinazzo has a special place in my heart, and I can recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Italian experience.Guest review byKorneli.NastasGermany - 8.0

Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting Centro Storico with its good range of cafes, restaurants and historical sights. No Sky Sports bars, Irish pubs or Sunday Roast Beef dinners (thankfully) ! Very family friendly and a good base to explore the wider area. Definitely not a tourist trap - mostly localsGuest review by1PeterH63United Kingdom - 10.0

We went to Molfetta for “The Festa”, blessing of the fleet. A tradition that a lot of fishing towns have. It was amazing. Lots of music, people & festivities. The town comes to life. Any other time of the year, it is a very quiet town.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 10.0
Bari is such a beautiful city.
Bari is such a beautiful city. It is really worth going, especially in September when the weather is similar to summer and there aren’t so many tourists. You really must go to Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. There are plenty of opportunities whether you want a sightseeing holiday or a sunbathing holiday. You can do both there!Guest review byClaraRomania
