Lovely place in a perfect quiet neighbourhood, yet just a short walk to the centre of the town. Just a short drive to Bologna and the airport, too. Beautiful hotel with a large garden, good private parking and extremely helpful staff. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The whole atmosphere at the hotel was calm and welcoming. The whole experience was worth it.

Everything, owner, Mr Uberto is super nice, helpful and friendly, the lady at the breakfast session is super nice and helpful too. It's like a 20mins walk from Bologna Centrale Station, away from Noise. Apartment is Cozy, Mr Uberto made good provisions for my 3yrs old daughter, she got her own space to sleep too. It was a modern apartment that is just enough for 3 of us ... Shops are around the corner, location seems to be somewhat an alley, even though it's a street ... It's crazy that the best food we tried in Italy was in the Chinese restaurant directly opposite Bologna Central Station... In all owner is Good and I will lodge here again...

Amazing place and amazing peiple. The lady at the reception has been so sweet to satisfy my request of having a closer room and explain jow tonuse the facility. Tje restaurant wqs amazing, grat food, courtesy with nice and professional staff. The facility is great and worths a visit. Clean and cosy room. Unfortunately the area has been flooded during our stay. They have been assisting, helping, they worked hard all night to restore cleanness and be able tp serve breakfast. Thwy also gave us a considerable discount because due to the flooding we weren't able to use all the services booked. Amazing place to visit and enjoy.

We were traveling through the area and were looking for a stop over . Finally, we found this hotel , and that was a huge relief for us . A reasonable price for a nice comfortable hotel with a perfect breakfast. We learned it is quite unusual in Italy to find accommodation like this ( for this level of price, you normally get an old grandma room ).

It’s spacious and clean apartment! Great functional kitchen and there are many equipment that you don’t need to bring your own. There are many windows so it’s bright if you open them, also breeze will flow into the house make the place more cozy. I will come back definitely!

Bologna is definitely a beautiful city.

Bologna is definitely a beautiful city. Wander on foot and discover many beautiful spots hidden in the narrow streets of the city. At the moment, there are tram works going on, and several streets are closed. Some landmarks are also under maintenance, such as the statue of Neptune and the Two Towers, so you might not be able to see them properly. On Sunday, there are neither buses nor taxis running in the old town. Get your bus tickets in advance, because it’s difficult to find tickets in the city center.

We were pleasantly surprised by Imola—its historical city center is truly lovely. Despite welcoming over 240,000 spectators for the Grand Prix, if you ventured off the beaten path, you could still find quiet streets and charming corners to enjoy in peace. It’s a beautiful blend of vibrant energy and tranquil charm.

It's a rather remote, quiet town.

It's a rather remote, quiet town. Nothing to draw one to except quiet and near the Bologna airport. I ended up choosing to heat up a packaged curry/rice meal from the supermarket, as the only other choice (since I didm't have a car) was a pizzeria.

We usually stop in Sasso Marconi on our way to the South of...

We usually stop in Sasso Marconi on our way to the South of Italy from Germany. La Quercia is closed to the motorway, still in a quiet area, on the hills. We dined at Osteria dei Sani in Sasso Marconi, 8 min drive from la Quercia, very good. The property accommodated my request to have a take-away breakfast, since we had to resume our journey early in the morning. I really appreciated it. The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3. We were travelling from the north to the south and used it as an overnight stop. It was very rural and peaceful which we liked, and Emanuela was very helpful in arranging a table at the local Osteria. They have horses there and a very friendly dog called Missy, who was a great favourite with my daughter. If you want an overnight stop during your holiday I'd highly recommend it.

I would recommend the walking tour, which is about 2-hours and very informative. It also helps highlight places you might like to return to to look at in more detail. The centre of Bologna is fairly small, so one can see a lot without having to walk too far. We found sitting with a drink on the piazza Santo Stefano was a relaxing way to pass the time, and the prices for meals felt very reasonable. October felt like a very pleasant time to visit - not too hot, but warm enough.

We loved the town, it is lively enough, with restaurants, cafes and shops, but less touristy than Bologna which we had visited before that. We felt much safer and relaxed here in Imola. We enjoyed the walk in the historical centre, a visit to the Duomo, walking in the Acque Minerali park. Unfortunately, the fortress was closed for reconstruction at the time but we observed it at least from the outside and learned about its history from a very useful app. It's called VisitARe Imola app and we loved it, it's exactly what you need for individual sightseeing of the city and the surroundings. The kids enjoyed having a look at the Imola circuit and driving in the simulators. And other sights in the region are within a reasonable driving distance. The closest is Dozza, which we felt in love with but also a longer trip to San Marino and Rimini was absolutely worth it. And strangely perhaps, we liked the walk around the Piratello cemetery. It is really impressive and even more so in the time of our visit - just two days before All Saints' Day.

We used this place as a starting point to visit: - the historic centre of Bologna (20 min. by a car) - Ferrari Museum in Maranello (50 min.) - Lamborghini factory and museum in Santa Agatha (20 min.) Airport: For some, it may be important that this place is near the airport of Bologna. Restaurant: From the accommodation we got a tip about the restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria "Itaca" in Calderara di Reno - excellent 👍 (10min. by a car) Visit Bologna: Bologna is a very busy town with narrow streets. I strongly do not recommend going into the historic centre by a car. Use the underground garages on the outskirts of the historic centre - e.g. on Via Riva di Reno and then walk

Sasso Marconi is very small and quiet I didn't have time to fully explore but getting around on foot or by car is easy enough. Getting in and out from other towns is a different story, if you don't use Italian Telepass you can only exit from the autostrada at the south of the city and cannot enter the autostrada at all. If you're heading north, look forward to at least an hour of heavy traffic on the strada statale and Bologna's ring road before getting away.
