- From $1,491.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 98 reviewsTime at the monastero is everything you might expect for a 5 star resort experience with some notable distinctions. Amazing attention to detail and systems of management, result in a sense of tranquility which is hugely amplified by the monastery setting. This really can't be overstated. The peaceful environment they create here is quite precious. Secondly, having a limited number guests (20), means that there is a sense of privacy missing from some resorts or hotels. Thirdly, the views are literally some of the best photos from our trip. Fourthly, the generosity and warmth of the staff in every area is 100% consistent. A great credit to management. Loved our stay. Obviously not an every holiday option, but a special stay that will be remembered for a very long time.Guest review byMatthew CostaAustralia

Take your favourite walking shoes! Lots of history here.
Take your favourite walking shoes! Lots of history here. Must visit Pompeii, take a train from the main station, everyone is very helpful and understand/speak enough English to help you on your way. Take the bus share from the airport to the station, then buy a metro pass, but remember to stamp it before your first journey. Pizzas are amazing, and very reasonable.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We did a few day trips while in Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri and Positano. Our location was within walking distance to the pick-up point and about 45 min ride to the harbor. Some of the restaurants that we ate well were O'Murzill, Fauno Bar, Il Leone Rosso Restaurante. The best gelato we ate was at Raki.Guest review byVirgilia - 10.0

Ischia is a great island for vacation - there are many sandy beaches, spectacular views, a lot of greenery and of course delicious food. It is not difficult to go around the island by car. The roads are narrow and with many turns, and many people are driving motorbikes which makes driving difficult but you can survive:) People are very friendly and calm. The food is amazing, especially pasta in any form! The island is easy to reach - the are ferries from Naples, about an hour from there. Highly recommend Ischia to visit!Guest review byIvankaBulgaria - 10.0
Great old town, not as crowded as some other spots.
Great old town, not as crowded as some other spots. We found our favorite restaurant out of our 3 weeks in Italy in the old town, "Osteria Dei Mercanti" the eggplant parmesan was to die for and the servers were all wonderful... I would definitely recommend Salerno, as it is makes an easy place to reach the Amalfi coast via boat, fairly quickly without the crowds of tourists, more locals around.Guest review byDeborahUnited States - 10.0

Capri is great to explore via taxi, get up early and head up to Ana Capri, less traffic more intimate area. The chair lift is a must to the top of the mountain, and lunch up top of the mountain is amazing. Capri is nice in the evenings to walk around and shop with plenty of places to get cocktails, and explore.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Great base for visiting other villages along the coast.
Great base for visiting other villages along the coast. Pretty town with plenty of small shops for gifts and ceramics. Wide range of restaurants, busy ones on the central square and secluded ones up steps and in alleys - all full of character. Limited suppplies for apartment cooking so we had to eat out for all meals but prices the same as UK. La Perla restaurant made excellent gluten free pizza! Very easy to eat gluten free as most menus clearly marked. Crowded during the day.Guest review byKimUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Positano was fantastic.
Positano was fantastic. We enjoyed great restaurants and shopping. The incredible views will stay in my mind for the rest of my life. We had easy access to boats heading to Capri, which is a “must add” trip you should fit in to your plans. The beach’s are loaded with stone and you must have water shoes to get into the water. We were always at ease with the relaxing vibe that surrounded us. My wife and I will strongly recommend Positano to anyone thinking of heading that way. It is truly magical. Our 2 best meals were at “The Mediterrano” and “ La Taglia, we enjoyed them both equally.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town.
Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town. The Royal Palce is jaw dropping and it is a 8E return train ride from Naples. With a car, there are many fantastic Roman sites and a spectacular coastline within 30k. The town has quite a number of excellent Pizza restaurants, all competitively priced.Guest review bypaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pompei archeological park was amazing.
Pompei archeological park was amazing. I was unprepared for the sheer scale of the city. I think you need a minimum of 2 days to really explore the ruins alone. Modern Pompei I did not like. It is noisy and there is nothing pleasant at all.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Anacapri is way quieter than Capri.
Anacapri is way quieter than Capri. I see that as a good thing. Anacapri gets busy during the day with all the day trippers... Thanks to the gondola, Blue grotto etc. But once they leave... that's when Anacapri shines. We loved the quiet evenings, the amazing sunsets, the now empty swimming holes... Loved it!Guest review byAndreUnited States
