Location is perfect, right in the city center, very close to the main square. Parking is available quite near the hotel. The hotel is very nice and modern, always kept clean. the staff is very kind and make you feel at home. Breakfast is very well assorted and they offer you nice coffee and juices.     The best choice of the hotel for winter. Everybody who loves and visit Lignano in the winter as well, knows very well, that not a lot of hotels are open. Most of opened hotels are without heating,without warming beddings, but Columbus has all! Perfect position, comfortable bed, good equipment of the room, tasty rich breakfast, clean rooms, 24 hours reception which I appreciate. I am regular customer already 2 years.

    One of the most beautiful port cities we've visited; we loved the vibe of the city. Our brief two-night stay just before our cruise was perfect as a first visit, but we would stay longer next time to see more sites. The ones we visited were interesting, mainly because the city is easily walkable. We would explore further afield next time. Besides the historical sites, which we always enjoy about cities, we were pleasantly surprised to encounter a fabulous Sunday flea market with so many treasures!

    Udine is very beautiful and I wish I'd been there on a day other than Monday, when most things are closed. If Udine wants to cater for more tourists they should seriously consider whether it's possible to have some of the main attractions open every day.

    Grado is such an amazing location with its historical center, cathedral and breathtaking landscape; also the surroundings are absolutely wonderful: Gorizia is such a lovely city to visit and, if you have got the chance, go for her Transalpina Railways in the heart of Slovenia :)

    Lignano has all you need for a comfy vacation.

    Lignano has all you need for a comfy vacation. Lovely beaches, a lot of nature, great shopping, excellent choice of restaurants and food establishments. Be aware that at the end of September many places in Lignano Pineta start to close so you need to travel to other parts of Lignano for shopping / eating out but parking is easy so not a big deal. I enjoyed walking around the town with very little auto and human traffic around :).

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

    The position of Monfalcone is just perfect - beaches, Miramare castle and Trieste and Udine are just a stone’s throw away. The city is nice, with a beautiful historical buildings and monuments, but the atmosphere there is just not so friendly.

    Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.
