Very close to the lake Bled. You can walk to the lake in 30-40 minutes. Perfect place to stay if you want to do any hike for sunrise view. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Nice balcony with a great view.

Peter was so helpful and friendly! Provided very valuable and good information. Breakfast was the best! Rooms were so comfortable, large and well appointed. Mini fridge and Apple juice very appreciated! Best was how quiet the sleep time was! And only minutes from the beach in Bled! Highly recommended!

Our room was comfy and clean. Bathroom is very nice. They have a wellness facilities on the 5th floor. Its nice, not too big but enough to enjoy a little bit. Breakfast was very nice with restaurant looking to the lake and castle. Very nice stay. We are going to visit it again.

    Amazing views! The chalet was clean and cozy and hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We were able to use their e-bikes and go on a beautiful bike ride from the property. The local wine and beer on tap, loca cheeses and baked goods, coffee, etc we’re all really nice touches. We hope to stay here again!

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful.

    Lake Bled was wonderful, incredibly beautiful. We swam in the lake, paddle boarded on the lake, and caught the boat out to the island. The walk around the lake was picturesque, and lots of lovely places to eat and buy souvenirs in the town. Would go back in a heartbeat.

    Kranjska Gora is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts such as trail runners like us. We visited to run the UTMB Julian Alps in September so the atmosphere was buzzing. Weather was amazing, we definitely got lucky as a storm rolled in the day we left. A few nice restaurants, pubs and cafes, all of which really good value.

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

    Kobarid is a very charming place, ideal for an active vacation. However, there aren’t many cycling routes separate from the main road, which can sometimes feel inconvenient or less safe. Compared to other nearby towns, Kobarid is quite small.

    A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey. Loads of swimming spots along the river, and a place to rent kayaks, sups etc at the dam. I recommend travveling along the river, up to Gabrje and further for more beautiful river locations. We stayed just outside of town, which I recommend if you have your own transport. I didn't do anything in the town itself as its great just to relax along the river on a sunny day, or go kayaking on the river.

I went there mostly because of hiking, but there are all kinds of other sporting opportunity, especially water sports like SUP or rowing. I also spent some time with sightseeing: went to the island and also the Vintgard Gorge (do not miss it! Seriously, it's spectacular). Bled is a perfect destination for families, and also for hiking or doing other sports. I will definitely return.
