Staff is extremely helpful especially the front desk personnel. Close to many restaurants in both directions on the strip. There is also a supermarket about 200 feet from the hotel so it’s very convenient. I would definitely come back to this hotel again. The hotel supplies beach towels which is awesome. However the beach club is not part of the hotel so you must negotiate with them for a good price. They are a little expensive but coming from Miami it was reasonable for us. It was very difficult to find reliable information about...
It was very difficult to find reliable information about places to visit while we stayed in Genoa!! We went to the Tourist Information office on our first day, and there didn't seem to be many of the usual leaflets or posters around. We did ask for information about the Hop-On-Hop-Off tourist bus, and the staff had a leaflet behind the counter, like it was some kind of secret. So it felt like you had to know what you wanted to do or where you wanted to visit in order to ask for it, which is kind of the opposite of what a Tourist Info office should be. The staff also didn't seem to know about one of the main Palazzos being closed for the rest of the month, so were giving people information about its opening times even though that information was wrong. Even the posters/info with QR codes on them mostly led to websites that were out of date or had very little useful information on them. We left Genoa very weary and disappointed after staying for 4 nights, having walked to many places that turned out to be closed. There MUST be a ton of interesting things to do in Genoa, and we did find some of them for ourselves (by basically researching on Google Maps and TripAdvisor etc), but wow, it felt like quite a chore. Good stuff: the wacky public transport options (elevators, funicular railways, rack railway, train/lift on Via Balbi that goes up to the Castello D'Albertis (which is also worth a visit); the food; the things that are actually open (as long as you can find out their secret opening times).Guest review byKUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sanremo city itself is very disappointing.
Sanremo city itself is very disappointing. Streets and sea promenade are very dirty, stinky and overcrowded, sea is green, polluted, swimming caused allergies on my skin. The air in the city is extremely polluted as well: a lot of bikes and cars, very stressful. Food in the restaurants is not tasty, average, in some of them it is impossible to eat at all. I don't recommend to visit Sanremo to anyone, because it is waste of money, spoiled vacation, for a crazy big price.Guest review byKate - 8.0

Secluded private garden location just minutes from the beach and the Gigante statue in the new town, nestled under old growth trees in a light filled greenhouse glass addition to an historical building. Sun Light yet private. Equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer(a bonus for travelers) and the lack of towels. Bring extra charging stations. Outlets are sparing in each room. Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre.
Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre. The train that runs between the five towns, actually starts in Levanto so you can easily visit all the towns, and the trains also run to La Spezia where you can connect to many other parts of Italy. There are many restaurants, a fairly large beach, and you have many choices for hikes, walks, or rent a bike and ride through the tunnels. Riomaggiore is a vibrant town. Loved being outside at night with the restaurant sounds and bars playing music. It felt safe to walk around on my own. Enjoyed the harbor view and proximity to boat rental and tours. Beach was nice and small and not too crowded. Ferry is right there, too. Lovely town with many shops, restaurants and plenty to do. The beach and the sea looked very inviting even in winter! Easy to walk around and we found it very easy to visit nearby towns using trains which are reasonably priced and comfortable.
