Very modern facilities in room: heated towel rails, underfloor heating, warm and toasty in the winter, great bathroom with Jacuzzi! comfortable bed with different types of pillows and a comfy couch. Owners are absolutely lovely and the hotel is in the middle of nature: I saw a fox from my window! There is even a guitar in the reception that guests can play. Also, breakfast is great!

The location of our apartment was just a few steps from the piazza. The accommodation was superb and so tastefully restored by the Di Ciacca family. We travelled as a family and each apartment was different but so beautiful. We would hope to return.

Scanno is a beautiful village! It is so picturesque!

Scanno is a beautiful village! It is so picturesque! The lakes are brilliant blue-green. The locals are kind. Matilde cooked the most delicious breakfast every morning. You could not wait to get up to have breakfast!

Pleasant town just off the main ski towns of Roccaraso and...

Pleasant town just off the main ski towns of Roccaraso and Rivisondoli, so it's a lot 'quieter' at busy town. Very lively in the summer too with loads of activities and outdoor sports. The old town is very pretty with its church perched on the side of the hill and the old square. Loads of great restaurants too including one of Italy's 3* (Reale)

Very close to other towns like Pescocostanzo, uno dei borghi...

Very close to other towns like Pescocostanzo, uno dei borghi piu belli d'italia and Rocaraso a ski resort. We were in Rivisondoli in August of 2022 and the town was completely deserted and nothing to see after dinner time. Several football teams were stationed there for their training.

We went to Alvito to trace my husbands Ancestors and found it to be a charming, beautiful, friendly little town, clinging Picturesquely to the hillside and looking onto ever changing mountain views. Excellent ice cream at Di Tullio and drinks at Caffe dei Portici. A place to slow down and relax.

Alvito is a nice little rustic town.

Alvito is a nice little rustic town. We stayed nearby (5 min drive) away. It was great for restaurants and beautiful scenery. The town is spread up the side of a mountain. It was like driving around in a movie set.

We were based in a Boutique Hotel some 4km from Alvito town...

We were based in a Boutique Hotel some 4km from Alvito town centre. Surrounding the Area we established Good Quality and economic Restaurants that were 5 - 8 km walking from our Hotel. (more than 12 target locations) and the walks were a great way to generate an appetite. A local taxi company hooked up with us to then return us to the Hotel daily. The rural settings, the changes in level and the quiet lanes made the walking really enjoyable.
