Hotel Remilia ticked all the boxes. It was very easy to get to. It is set back from the highway so there was no noise. It's 10 minutes drive away from the town center. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way. The room was big and comfortable. Had all the amenities needed.. But no tea tray. Cafe is in the lobby, and they will bring you anything you like to order from there. The staff were quick. Got an iron and board 5 minutes after I requested it. The receptionist assisted us booking a wonderful restaurant in town ( as they may not speak English). She even ordered a taxi and informed him of our destination. It's 11 euros in a metered taxi. The town has a ZTL zone where only authorised cars are allowed in. Check Google for ZTL zone if you want to drive there. It's a very beautiful town. Taxi stands are next to Piazza della Vittoria. Or get the card from the taxi and call them whenever you want. They speak English and they arrive almost immediately. Breakfast is good..and if you require anything special I am sure they will try to make/get it for you. The hotel restaurant opens after 7pm ( as do most of the restaurants in towns in Italy). Don't forget to enjoy their ice-cream. It's gelato galore!! Open till 11.30pm!Guest review byTABahrain

Owner and staff are very friendly, recommended tons of places nearby to do and see. Great restaurant for dinner with amazing local wine. Tasty breakfast with everything you could ask for- eggs, ham, cheese etc. (nothing is charged extra!). All from local suppliers! Rustic feel, home-like atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you are in the middle of countryside. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient, and after a long day it was a true pleasure to arrive in a pre-airconditioned room (it was around 28 degrees that night). Details that matter. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. There are plenty of parking spaces, slightly hidden behind the hotel which gives some peace of mind. Situated at a quiet location just outside the village this hotel offers all that we needed, a lovely spacious family suite with a wonderful central balcony, staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. It was a midpoint destination for the cities we wanted to visit: Florence, Venice, Genoa, Parma, and Lake Garda as well as Quattro Castella. Beautiful old building with a fascinating history. A great job has been done to restore and renovate Hotel Posta into a comfortable, inviting hotel with attention to touches that made the stay feel luxurious. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and white linen tablecloths were changed between every sitting.
