- From $116.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 220 reviewsThe location, with a view of Stromboli and Panarea from the terrace was amazing. A shady private terrace/patio to relax on was wonderful, as was the surprise jacuzzi! The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, with a mini kitchen hidden in a roll top ‘cupboard.’ Breakfast was good and plentiful, complemented by wonderful sea views. The hosts are lovely, always had a smile, and were very enthusiastic in their recommendations of places to visit. I really wish I could have stayed longer!Guest review byCarolSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 203 reviewsI loveeed this place. It was kind of magical. Since it is locating in the middle of the island everywhere was reachable and reception helped me a lot with taxi arrangements. I really recommend this place not just because the place itself was amazing but everyone who are working here are very kind, helpful and genuine. They even prepared a breakfast bag and left it the night before since i was leaving early in the morning. Thank you everyone especially Nadia😊 hope to stay there again.Guest review byDesenTurkey
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 41 reviewsWe loved our stay in Principe. All the staff and especially the owners made an extra effort to accommodate us. The hotel is quite big but actually provides a very homey and cosy feeling. Dining there is an excellent option. You can easily spend the entire day at the hotel pool, but it is also very close located to Malfa, a beautiful town, and various beaches. Salina is a wonderful island and this hotel the best way to enjoy it!Guest review byAngelosIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 154 reviewsThe view is amazing, location is close to everything and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Eleonora, the manager, arranged a pick-up for us from the port. She also booked us a day tour to Panarea and Stromboli. On our departure date, she offered to open breakfast early for us or even pack up a to go box for us which was incredibly thoughtful. Loved everything ❤️Guest review byRodUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 216 reviewsSalina is a wonderful island and this was the perfect base to explore it from (very convenient to get to from the port after arriving by ferry). We loved the elegant and eclectic style of the hotel (particularly the restored tiles) and having breakfast in the garden. We also had a meal at the restaurant downstairs and would highly recommend it.Guest review byLilyUnited Kingdom

While we walked a bit around the town, and bought some lovely souvenirs from a local shop, we did not have enough time to see the beach, take a hike, or use the local bus to see other parts of the island. I felt I could have easily stayed for several days, if the weather conditions had been better. It is a very green island that beckons to be explored!Guest review byMaggieUnited States - 10.0

Charming and laidback- a great place to relax and chill. Enjoyed impromptu wine tasting at Fenech, and appreciated being shown around the island in an Ape calessino ( 3 wheeled motorbike) ecotour - highly recommended!Guest review byMaryAustralia - 8.0

Rinella in June was very quiet with not many restaurants to choose from. There was one clothes shop, one grocery shop and one tabbachi. If you don’t have a car, ferry, taxi or Citi bus is the only way to get about - or hiking of course. The bus I think is cheapest but we didn’t use it because we were mostly island hopping. 10 minute ride on ferry to Santa Marina Salina seemed expensive for the trip but I think it gets more expensive at certain popular times of the day. This is a quieter, more remote place to do the hopping (with the extra 10 min journey always tagged on the end from Santa Marina) so if you want a little bit more buzz choose one of the other islands or Santa Marina. Personally, we liked the vibe on Vulcano and loved Stromboli. (Stromboli is probably not the best base for island hopping though as it is the furthest one away). Lipari is big and bustling and didn’t feel like island-life but if you like that sort of thing, it’s a great base. On the whole we enjoyed our choice of base at Rinella. It was a good ‘getaway from it all’ place, where we were forced to do extremely little- when not venturing.Guest review byLorraineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
My review of Lingua has nothing to do with the Hotel Borgo...
My review of Lingua has nothing to do with the Hotel Borgo di Mare where we stayed. It is strictly limited to the sea front part of the village where restaurant and various shops are located. Although we came in the second part of June, the summer vacation season had barely started with most of the restaurant not yet fully ready, offering partial services, like no pizza even if already on the menu. We had to manage our expectations on a case-by-case basis. But altogether we found the offering at the time very basic (range of choices), poorly executed and pricy (meaning high season prices)Guest review byFrancoisPortugal - 10.0

Great little village with lots of delicious restaurants ad shops and galleries. Lots of fruit trees and a really cute beach (Spiaggia dello Scario). The village has a small supermarket, and has very good access to the rest of the island via the bus system, or by hiring a car or scooter at the various hire companies in the village.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Salina is one of the most beautiful Aeolian Islands.
Salina is one of the most beautiful Aeolian Islands. It is well reputed for Malvasia wine and capers. The scenery is fantastic and the island offers good possibilities for a nice holiday. There are good walking opportunities, a reliable bus service, great cafes and restaurants and some nice shops.Guest review byBirgit SchunkeGermany - 10.0
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month!
We could have stayed in Malfa for at least a month! It was a quiet, peaceful town, with a small main street with a handful of shops, and maybe three restaurants, and more of a takeout cafe. We had excellent, leisurely meals at two of the restaurants, and really enjoyed the staff at both. We walked down to the beach one day, and loved it, but it was otherwise a lazy few days in a spectacularly beautiful place with very pleasant people. Malfa is a treasure!Guest review byShelbyUnited States - 10.0

It’s simply wonderful - just the right balance of leisure, shops, restaurants, not too overcrowded (early September) so strolling around is very pleasant. Lots of trips and activities, friendly people. This is my second visit and I would highly recommend itGuest review byGailItaly
