- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,346 reviewsWe had the best time! The staff is SO FRIENDLY and helpful. We loved the variation of pools and little sitting areas throughout the common spaces. The resort rooms are all arranged like a little village with beautiful vines and flowers everywhere. I was especially impressed with their restaurant since I have dietary restrictions and everything is labeled if it contains common allergens. With so many activities available ( the sea sports, bikes, quads, tennis courts, volleyball courts, ping pong, spa, exercise classes and evening entertainment) we will definitely need to stay longer next time.Guest review byalexisUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 717 reviewsAmazing location, the property is massive. They were very quick to replace a broken air conditioner and 2 non-functioning refrigerators. Rooms were spotless. Nice pools and beaches everywhere, all were clean and with lifeguards. Breakfast wasn't bad and included cook to order. Everyone was friendly and no wait to check in, they give you a van from your car to the room at checkin and checkout. Drink and food prices are on par with everywhere else. Even includes a wildlife area with horses, donkeys, sheep, etc - great walking with views before it gets too hot in the morning.Guest review byJamieUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 2,608 reviewsQuick walk to the beach umbrella and chairs included. Next to town so an easy walk into town for dinner, shopping or to catch a boat tour at the marina. We left our car in the parking lot as everything is walking distance. Room was large and had a large balcony all very clean and nice. The property was very well maintained. buffet breakfast was included in our stay and it was excellent. Everything from eggs and bacon to fresh fruit to sweet breads yogurt, cold cuts, etc. and excellent coffee all in abundance. We didn't want to leave.Guest review bytoddUnited States

We stayed in Poetto Beach for 2 nights which we loved, then stayed at Palazzo Doglio for 2 nights which gave us a different perspective, both great. There are good restaurants, shopping, a marina, museums. It is a lovely city.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0

Great little town to wander around with fascinating shops and great choice of restaurants. 4 of us went on a day boat trip on the Andrea Padre with Nautisub and had a wonderful time with great food and a great crew. Saw some of the caves, a few stops for swimming and saw Dolphins and Tuna . A great atmosphere and great value. The day was rounded by a fantastic meal at The Trattouria Cavour.Guest review bysockcjIsle of Man - 10.0
Olbia can be a good base for the main tours of the island.
Olbia can be a good base for the main tours of the island. Is right next to La Tavolara, close to Costa Smeralda, 30 min to wineries in Vermentino di Gallura, 1 hour from Palau and La Madalena, and 1h30 from Orosei and Baunei coasts. It is also a better city than I expected. The farthest is La Pelosa, but still at 2h hour drive. The town center is quite small, but pleasant to walk and visit. Many good restaurants tooGuest review byDanielBrazil - 8.0
We stayed 4 nights
We stayed 4 nights The beaches are spectacular some of the best we’ve ever seen in the Mediterranean. Fantastic for families with warm shallow water and soft sand backed by dramatic mountains in the distance. There are flocks of flamingos in the marshes near san Teodoro and spectacular views from the hills and gorgeous walks. The downside is the lack of beach restaurants and cafes . There is often a small kiosk selling coffee drinks and ice cream but little else so we took picnics . We really missed the ubiquitous beach tavernas you get in the rest of the Med so we were dying for a decent restaurant after a couple of nightsGuest review byRosieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great location for a number of beautiful beaches and a lively town with some very good restaurants but if you want to explore the area further a car is essential Sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach are quite expensive so it’s worth taking towels and chairs if you canGuest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We have stayed in other very nice resorts and hotels with robust amenities throughout Sardinia and this was easily our favorite one. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. In addition to the hotel, we loved touring around Capo Testa and spent a lot of time in Santa Teresa which is a very charming town near the hotel. Next time we will spend more time at the beaches since an injury prevented us from navigating the rocky beach.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!Guest review byTameshaNorway - 8.0
