Perfect location, sparklingly clean rooms, great breakfasts but the staff really made the whole holiday extra special. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so very friendly. I lost my bag with my passport in it and they were super understanding helping me get it back! I wish all hotel staff were so invested in their guests well-being. The hotel seems to be new, it's very modern and nicely furnished. The location was really good, you could easily walk to the city center which took less than 10 minutes. There is a large supermarket just a walking minute away and some nice restaurants just around the corner. Very nice Italian breakfast was included with exceptional coffee and incredible cappuccino 🤩 But what made our stay there memorable was amazing staff, everybody was very friendly, nice and always ready to help. We really liked it there and will definitely come back next year.

Villa Cavalieri is so wonderful!! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Due to my own errors in scheduling, we accidentally arrived the day before our stay was supposed to begin, but immediately, the man working the front desk (I've sadly forgotten his name) worked on finding a way to accommodate us anyway and was so reassuring when I felt so bad about my mistake. He and every other staffer we interacted with made us feel so welcome and at home for our whole time there. The hotel itself was also gorgeous! We loved our room, the courtyard, the breakfast area/restaurant, & run-ins with the peacock :) The location was so peaceful and tranquil, while still a quick drive from Pula, where there were a lot of great shops and restaurants, and from many beautiful beaches. My partner is also a runner and greatly enjoyed the area around the hotel for his runs--the road it was on continued straight up a nearby mountain and offered gorgeous views. We're so grateful to the folks at this hotel for helping make our vacation so special, and hope to come back and stay here again!

Quick walk to the beach umbrella and chairs included. Next to town so an easy walk into town for dinner, shopping or to catch a boat tour at the marina. We left our car in the parking lot as everything is walking distance. Room was large and had a large balcony all very clean and nice. The property was very well maintained. buffet breakfast was included in our stay and it was excellent. Everything from eggs and bacon to fresh fruit to sweet breads yogurt, cold cuts, etc. and excellent coffee all in abundance. We didn't want to leave.

Cagliari is a wonderful city to explore by foot or on one of the fun trains or buses. The walled city is definitely a leisurely day, exploring all the narrow streets, and looking at the views. We ate in several different restaurants - Antica Cagliari Bistro, Taverna Borno, Taboo Pizzeria, Taurus Steakhouse, and our total favourite for wine tasting/nibbles was Sarduzzo Enoteca & co, where we went twice!

Great little town to wander around with fascinating shops and great choice of restaurants. 4 of us went on a day boat trip on the Andrea Padre with Nautisub and had a wonderful time with great food and a great crew. Saw some of the caves, a few stops for swimming and saw Dolphins and Tuna . A great atmosphere and great value. The day was rounded by a fantastic meal at The Trattouria Cavour.

You definitely need a car to get around but the cost is definitely worth it. The area is lovely and a boat trip to La Maddalena is a must. Photos do not do justice to the crystal clear turquoise water and unspoiled beaches. This is high praise coming from someone who rarely goes to the beach! This stay was my first and hopefully not my last but I would have stayed longer if I could have. We enjoyed good meals in various places including a recommended restaurant at a small beach which was atmospheric with a beautiful view. I don’t think you can go wrong wherever you choose to eat. The place feels safe and the people are friendly and polite.

    We stayed 4 nights

We stayed 4 nights The beaches are spectacular some of the best we’ve ever seen in the Mediterranean. Fantastic for families with warm shallow water and soft sand backed by dramatic mountains in the distance. There are flocks of flamingos in the marshes near san Teodoro and spectacular views from the hills and gorgeous walks. The downside is the lack of beach restaurants and cafes . There is often a small kiosk selling coffee drinks and ice cream but little else so we took picnics . We really missed the ubiquitous beach tavernas you get in the rest of the Med so we were dying for a decent restaurant after a couple of nights

We have stayed in other very nice resorts and hotels with robust amenities throughout Sardinia and this was easily our favorite one. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. In addition to the hotel, we loved touring around Capo Testa and spent a lot of time in Santa Teresa which is a very charming town near the hotel. Next time we will spend more time at the beaches since an injury prevented us from navigating the rocky beach.

    The best place in Sardinia.

The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!
