The staff were so friendly and make the stay so comfortable for you. Nothing is too much. The hotel is right on the beach and the beach and water are amazing. The breakfast is great. The little pool at the top with seating is lovely for watching the sunset. Only 6 bedrooms so feels very private.

Everything was perfect. We were given an upgrade on arrival and stayed in a luxurious suite. Five star treatment beginning with a great breakfast buffet that contains everything you wish for. 2 Pools with lots of room and shade as it was very hot while we were there. The restaurant served superb food and we ate there both nights. The grounds are a picture - manicured grass and beautiful trees. You cannot go wrong staying here.

    We received a warm welcome from two wonderful ladies at Reception (Barbara and Mary) who explained everything about the property and gave us a tour. The setting is part of a restored 19th century farm with gardens, orchards, an Enchanted Garden, two stunning outdoor pools - everything designed for total comfort and relaxation in the Sicilian countryside. We stayed 3 nights to explore Siracusa/Ortigia, nearby towns and beautiful beaches. They grow their own organic produce which is served in the restaurant. The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with Sicilian tiles. We enjoyed our own private patio facing a garden with citrus trees and flowering shrubs. A delightful way to start the day with a morning coffee and end it with a glass of local wine before a delicious Sicilian dinner in their restaurant. The breakfast buffet was exceptional including custom made omelettes and a table full of freshly baked breads and sweets. We loved our visit and could have stayed a week.

    The apartment have everything you need for a Vacation and was big and comfertable, the bed was soft and also good pillows. The aircondition was perfect and you have it Both in the bedroom and in the livingroom and you can set the temperature of what you want. It was clean and was located at a perfect spot in ortigia. The owner was Really helpful and When you wrote a question you got answered in a minute. Would recommend for everyone and if i was going back to ortigia i would probably hire the same place.

    Very very friendly host - since we did not have a car, sh even picked us up and brought us to the beach once! Daniela gave us recommendations for stuff to do around the area. Really beautiful and calm location! Lots of beautiful and clean beach areas around. The apartment/ house is not to big and has a really nice Terrasse for chilling outside, with little fairy lights outside for late-night talks. By bus 30min to Syracuse, 30min to fontane bianche.

    This is a very nice place in Ortigia I can highly recommend. I had a very nice room with a private terrace overlooking the sea. It is the room 15. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, rolls, cheese, cereal and specialities from Sicily. It is a very good start if you want to explore the island. You can go directly from the airport in Catania. Dont miss it!

    Excellent stay, definitely in the top 3 hotels we ever stayed in. We got a couple’s villa with private jacuzzi, and it was amazing. Extremely modern, very private, and well cared for.     A very interesting city beautifully located on the coast. A wonderful place for people interested in ancient history - it was full of antiquities. Ortigia (walking distance from Siracusa) is very pretty and interesting. Lots of palaces and churches everywhere. A foodie's paradise. The people were very nice. Good swimming - warm, clean sea even in October.

    Beautiful beach and cliffs around the town. Unfortunately not many restaurants and option to eat. The litters are on the beach and no one cares there. But the beach, water and the surrounding nature is just stunning. The place is easy to be reached by local train.

    Cassibile in itself is a pretty normal town.

    Cassibile in itself is a pretty normal town. There are all the amenities one would expect to find - pretty much within walking distance of the property we stayed in. There are some fabulous pizzerias which are worth trying out. The best thing about Cassibile is that it is within very short driving distances to Avola, Fonte Bianche, Noto, and Ortigia to name a few great locations.

    The area is about 20 minutes from the main city by car. It is a quiet area with simple reasturants on an undeveloped sea inlet. There are farms and boat yards on the bay. The area does not have many tourists so if you’re wanting to getaway from city life this may suit you. I would say a car is necessary to explore this area. We ate at a small restaurant with outside area by the water. Great sunset followed by reflection of the city lights over the bay.

    Stay in ortigia. Its a postcard perfect town. Every street becomes a restaurant by night so all the streets are well looked after. The beaches in ortigia aren't the best but if you fancy a swim there's plenty of access for a swim.

    Loved the island of Ortigia, from where you can visit the key attractions of Syracuse. We enjoyed our visit to the Neapolis archeological park with its spectacular ancient Greek theatre, the Roman amphitheatre and ancient stone quarries, with its the ear of Dionysus and impressive acoustics. The park's display of bronze and metal sculptures are an added bonus. A rainy afternoon was spent in the archeological museum. On Ortigia, we liked our visit to the castle, strolling the streets and choosing where to eat from the many fine restaurants. We were there 4 days, which was just about right.

    I would recommend the area for a short trip for the beach. In truth, we didn't venture anywhere else other than the villa and the beach as we went there for a change away from the cities we were visiting, but there didn't seem to be a lot to do in the area besides that anyway. The beaches were good, not the best we've been to, but still good, and generally the facilities there were good too.
