    We booked a camping spot for our tent and we could choose the spot in the booked area ourselves! The spots were spacious with a lot of shade and the restrooms and showers were extremely clean! There is a little train that brings you down to the beach but you can also easily walk there. It's a nice walk down the cliffs through a forest.

    The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy with 2 types of pillows, firm one and a fluffy one, so you can choose which one you prefer regarding your sleeping preferences. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of products. There is no problem with parking lots. The nice pool on the patio is a nice welcome to every guest

    The breakfast was simply delicious and offered a wide variety of different food to choose from. I particularly enjoyed fresh fruit and pastries, but there were also items like eggs and bacon.     The location is great, the bus station is next to the hotel and the city center is just 2-3 minutes away. The personal was lovely and polite.     We liked the fact that you could walk to all areas of the city. Architecture was spectacular and city was spotless. The trip to Miramare castle was well worth it. Grounds, interior and views were beautiful.

    Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

    There is no modern bakery or coffee house in the entire village. We felt that a bit of progress or a more modern atmosphere was missing—perhaps a case of resting on one’s laurels. However, we really enjoyed the nearby fish restaurant, where the staff was very welcoming.

    The town itself - there truly is nothing and there's not really that much of space to go for walks, but everything is so close, that you can just drive everywhere and everything is so easy to reach.

    I wish we had more time to explore the area.

    I wish we had more time to explore the area. We found a cute part of town with an amazing restaurant. We plan on going back to Trieste next year and would stay there again. The only issue we had with the unit was the area is a little run down, and the TV is very old and will not support streaming. Other than that it was perfect for our needs.

    Went on the tourist tram up to Via Stradicana / Napoleonica.

    Went on the tourist tram up to Via Stradicana / Napoleonica. Get off at Obelisk stop not end at Opicina. Tram is a little hairy especially just after the start when they add a second engine; also crowded. There is also the 64 bus right nearby if you think might be queasy. Central Trieste has been thoroughly refurbished during Covid and looks like a set from Studio Ghibli. The old town is buzzing with bars and restaurants. A treasure for James Joyce fans.

    We liked Muggia.

    We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility. We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

    interesting castle - many reliquies from the family, constantly renovated, with exceptional views and has the old castle, and a buker as well, very exciting Friendly people everywhere, beautiful sentiero rilke in the mountains that goes to sistiana

    The village itself has not much to offer (in terms of sightseeing), but for me as a base for exploring the karst by bike it was perfect. There are also some restaurants, cafes and pubs - so it is not necessary to drive down to Triest every time. But if necessary, there is a good connection by bus.

    An interesting town on the cross-roads of European...

    An interesting town on the cross-roads of European civilisations, with a special resonance today. My wife and I are well travelled. We did not visit any of the sites you mentioned.. But we enjoyed the general atmosphere.
