GermanyThis is our second time at this hotel and we loved it both times. The staff are very nice and helpful. We have two young children and the room was perfect, two big beds and a child's cot for the toddler. Breakfast is simple but good and the dining room is also very nice with lots of light.
The hotel and rooms are clean and modernized. I would not classify it as an extravagant hotel, but it is smartly decorated and the lobby is attractive and relaxed with nice rugs and chairs. There's a big patio outside of the lobby and the whole atmosphere is very comfortable. I especially like the honesty system bar where you can help yourself to a drink by simply writing your room number.
There's also a nice pool and outside area with great landscaping and a beautiful old olive tree. This was a big draw for us and we spent lots of time relaxing with the kids by the pool after trips in and outside of the city.
As for location, we did not know very much about Rovereto before coming here. We picked it because it is well located between both the mountains and Lake Garda. It is a great jumping off point for day trips. The hotel itself is a 5 minute walk from the train station which will get even easier once the passage under the highway is finally fully finished.
But I would say Rovereto itself is quite an underrated and charming town. There are excellent art galleries, including the Futurism museum, and nice parks with playgrounds. The city, being small, has a laid-back vibe and there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Once in the city it's easy to walk everywhere. You could easily just spend a few days here relaxing and exploring, and indeed, the small size is one of the draws compared to more busy tourist cities like Verona. The only thing that surprised me is how much traffic there is during rush hour!

The rooms are bigger than average and the bathroom is very spacious. Everything from hot water shower to bed linen were perfect.
The hotel is just 5 mins walk from Ala train station. We travelled there by train and we had no problems to reach this place.
The owners are very kind and fantastic people. The restaurant attached to the hotel has one of the best Indian food (we mean it) to offer along with Italian dishes.
Check in, check out, and communication was super easy. We definitely recommend this hotel to stay and taste the mouthwatering food in a beautiful place called Ala.

United KingdomI booked the hotel as I wanted to drive along Lake Garda on my way back from Croatia. On the approach to the hotel the last 8km were up a very twisty single track road, but keep going you will get there. The view from my room was great and following a good breakfast, included in the very reasonable cost, it was a 10 minute drive to the top of the lake and a fantastic morning driving down the west side. All was good and even the WiFi worked.

United KingdomThe hotel has a private parking. We came slightly earlier than our booking but they let us check in. The gentleman on the reception was really nice, polite and helpful. He explained everything to us. We stayed for one night only and it was on Monday when most of the amenities in the town were closed along with the restaurant(pizzaria) near the hotel, but the receptionist helped us when he told us where to have a nice proper dinner. We had a nice walk to the town centre and then had a wonderful Italian pizzaria experience 🙂 The room was nice and clean. Has what you need - beds and bathroom 🙂 The beds were really comfortable! We liked our stay in the hotel! Thank you

The facilities are brand new and furnished ((plates, cups, galsses, knives, tea towel – you name it), making our stay very comfortable. Everything was spotless and fresh, which we greatly appreciated.
The location is perfect, with easy access to many destinations by train. For those traveling by car, there is a private parking space available, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience!

A beautiful old house in a reserved, natural setting. The pool was clean and and the surrounding areas a maze of opportunities to have fun. But what blew me away was the staff and service. During my stay I was the only visitor who booked breakfast. However, the entire buffet was setup for me by the owner, including different choices of bread, marmalade, cheeses, hams, cereal, two full cakes, juice, coffee and tee and more than I can recall. An unbelievable display of hospitality and commitment. 5 Stars all the way.

Really friendly stuff, they helped us with everything and every question we had. Very clean place and even the cleaning lady was so sweet. We had a nice time and enjoyed our stay a lot!

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village. We only had a short stop over here, I imagine it is a great location for hill walking etc. there a great shops and the historic center is quite something! There are lovely locations to enjoy an aperitivo, have coffee or dinner.

This quiet little village, reached by winding mountain roads, is worth the drive if you fancy staying away from the tourist hot-spot of Riva Del Garda, yet still within easy reach.
The two grocery stores will provide what you need and there's a small play park (swing/zip-wire) for youngsters near the centre, next to a hard court for basketball/ball games. The local pizzeria and pharmacy complete the 'essentials' for a short holiday.

Beautiful area at the southern end of the Dolomites.
Beautiful area at the southern end of the Dolomites. With Lake Garda just around the corner, it is both tranquil but also full of entertainment. And so much to see. No need to know particular places, you will find something for yourself in this outstandingly beautiful area, as long as you are outdoorsy.

It's a small town with a main city square in which You will find the church, city mall and other official building, mostly of the 16th century but of recent renovation. Close to the town You can visit the Castle of Avio (personally didn't have the chance to enter, but it's visible from the road). My main purpose of the visit was to enjoy the mountain area, which offers quite a number of well marked trekking trails.

The town is small and very nice. We liked it all, but there was complicated traffic in the very center and problems with navigation. But in the end all has gone well.

It is high in the mountains and so the road into Ronzo...
It is high in the mountains and so the road into Ronzo Chienis is very twisty. I did it around 7:30 in the evening and did not see another car for the last 8km. Once in the town there is parking across the street from the hotel. I asked if the restaurant was still open and was given a pasta roulard with a spinach filling within 10 minutes of arriving.

I walked everywhere in Rovereto. Access to the train station is just 10 minute's walk from the station.
Osteria del Pettirosso is a great restaurant. It serves the best Steak Tartare even better than the Wolseley in London. Their daily menu is great. They have a great wine selection.
Lots of outdoor things to do and museums to visit.
